I love Kevin Love as a player, but I don't know how I feel about him as a first round pick.

Really? He shoots FGs at .470, the tres at .417, FTs at 8.50, 20.2 PPG, 15.2 RBPG, 2.5 APG, and low turnover rate at around 2.1 ... I don't see any bigs left with that kind of dominance.

He didn't dominate.  He hung impressive stats.

If he gets a team around him, he could be a fringe star.

If not, he will be an NBA stat hanger.

I think he's a solid pick, but I don't know how dominant he is. His rebounding is a bit inflated because nobody else is rebounding around him (not that he still wouldn't get 11 or 12 a game), and his defense leaves a lot to be desired.

He's a defensive sieve who is an incredibly efficient garbage man/third option offensively.

Not the sort of talent you want to build your team around. He'd be a fantastic third best player, a solid second best player, but best player on your team? Ouch!

Nice pick Bahku, I was hoping he would fall to the end of the round.

Thanks, Man ... highly underrated guy on CelticsBlog, obviously, but an extremely dominant player to build a team around.

I like love here, he put a hurting on the celtics on the glass this year from what I remember.  Still quite young and is showing great growth in his game.  I think you guys are crazy to think he won't be a star

Agree. Love is a nice complimentary piece, but he hasn't shown that he can be more than the first option on a bad team or a good stats, bad team guy. He's undoubtedly talented but I don't think he can be your anchor.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Given what's left of big guys who can rebound...Love is a solid pick here

Yeah. Love has his limitations/flaws, but anyone who boards like that would have a place on my team.

Just checking in after court.  My favorite pick of the first round:  Blake Griffin.  I know he's largely unproven, but next year this kid is going to be a top-five pick.

Least favorite:  I'd probably say Durant, just because I don't think you can pass on Lebron and Howard.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though, and riah obviously loved KD.  I'm also not enamored by the Love pick, and I think Rondo went too high.

Nobody is saying that he's a bad player to have on your team.

But when you put up huge stats that say you're the next KG according to PER and WP/48 then your team should be winning more than 17 games.

His impact on the game is less than his gaudy TS%, rebounding, and efficiency would leave you to believe.

I'm pretty confident Bahku will do better than Kahn at building around Love.
