Because a guy's on a bad team means he's a bad player, or not going to be successful? Don't get it.

But nobody is saying either of those things. What we're saying is that while Kevin Love is a good pick, and a fine player, and a great building block, at this point he's not a dominant offensive force, and is really bad defensively. These are not contradictions. Just like its not a contradiction to say LeBron James is the best player in the NBA, but lacks a killer instinct, especially in the fourth quarter. Or like saying Amar'e Stoudemire is the most offensively dominant PF in basketball, but his rounding numbers historically show a lack of dedication to that area of the game.

Or that Tim Duncan is one of the greatest winners in the history of basketball, but really his age has reduced his efficacy considerably?

Exactly like that.

Reduced his effectiveness to the second best center in the NBa and the 4th best PF? At the 22nd pick? I'll take it.

I'm on my way home, but I gotta workout first. Trades can be sent in now. Do me a favor though, and make sure the confirmation comes with it, rather than 1 one time, and one 20 mins later.

I appreciate the commish allowing me to pick late.  I'm not doing this to sit on it and collect trade offers.

With the 24th pick of the 1st round of the 2011 CB Draft

The Denver Nuggets select the very consistent Joe Johnson

I like JJ.

I was talking with my assistant gm Action781 about this:

To me, he's one of those guys that people undervalue because he makes so much more money than he's worth.

He's close, but Amar'e better. You're acting like Dirk was the Finals MVP this year or something.

The Boston Celtics rectify the 1997 draft and select: Tim Duncan

Great pick (and done with a little flair too.) I'm sure his minutes restriction last season scared off some GMs, but he's my early favorite for best value of the first round.

Yep, JJ is under-rated. One of the most well-rounded players in the league.

Heck of a tough cover at 6-8 240lbs at the two guard spot.

IP couldn't help himself....little free subliminal advertising while also trying to make a point. Notice the Lebron slant as well.  ;) :D ;D
