The Kings continue our defensive domination by selecting: Wes Matthews

That's an incredible picture.

Cue the KC jokes

I just find it hysterical that after an entire summer of Nick calling me a ding-dong, he drafts Wes every chance he gets.

The Kings are certainly putting together a very strong defensive squad.

That's an interesting choice of images, Rondo. Wes employing the hack-a-Melo defense?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
What's that? You want a reach? You want a binky? You want Start Orien to not be surprised????

With the 15th pick in the third, the Blazers select Kyle Lowry.

In the third round? Too early, imo.

TP for you though for orchestrating this whole thing. Thanks.

After the Rockets traded _____ _____ and gave Kyle Lowry the reins, he went off for 18pts, 8asts, 5 rebounds, 45% shooting, and 40% from deep, all while keeping his characteristic hard-nosed play and tough defense.

I don't think its early for an 18 and 8 point guard at all.

Nope, I remember this exact play, not only was no foul called the ref went over to Mathews and said, "That was the best defensive play in the history of defense, will you sign my boxers."

Thats a little known fact

I agree, Lowry was a short lister for me.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Yep, Central looking good.

Carmelo the only SF in the division so far. Have a feeling that the Bucks, Pacers, and Pistons are going to go for defense at the 3.

Containing Melo is a team effort, you need a good team defense. Maybe two good shot blockers in the post, a long quick point guard to harass him if he brings the ball up and good defender to stick him on the wing.

In general I think the best way to mess with Melo is to test him on defense. Either he gets worn out trying to follow a scorer around or he doesn't try and the other guy torches him.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

If you're talking about Kaman, I thought I already did?

I didn't see it, but I'm assuming that means that I can announce the 18th pick for myself rather than making Kane do it. Is that kosher?
