I can't believe what Kahn is doing... He SOLD the 31st pick! After moving down from the 20th.
Probably picked up a few million from Miami and few million from someone else.

I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up $5 million there.

Regarding Johnson, we need bodies right now. No one expected Erden to play last year but he definately contributed... we'll see.
Who did he sell it too?  What a clown!!!!!

Please tell me I wasn't the only one to hear that idiot talking about the Heat call them a dynasty???

Ummm don't you have to win at least 2 titles before being a dynasty? Let alone the 0 that the Heat have?

Kahn must be related to someone in high places

Hollinger also had Brooks as the most overrated player in the draft, for what that's worth.
How accurate has Hollinger's rating system worked in the past?

well, i'd ssay better than average. Ov course, the anti-stat crowd thinks any failure by someone using stats is proof of a flawed system, but people  who don't use stats tend to  really selectively remember their own successes and omit the failures, so i'd say that his rankings are easily more reliable than the overall collective logic of team scouts that end up actually resulting in the real draft order.

did the c's get this years 2nd rd pick or next year?

they said "future 2nd round pick" so I doubt that it's this year. I doubt that it's next year as well. I'm guessing a 2013 2nd rounder.

It's a 2014 second.
How'd you find that? I looked everywhere since the second it was announced

So Kahn traded down from 20 to 23 trading Flynn for Miller and a future 1st

Then traded 23 to 28 for a 2nd this year.

Then traded 28 to 31 for a future 2nd rounder.

Then take Bojan Bogdanovic a SG.

So traded goes Flynn and the 20th(Donatas Montiejunas) for an injured Brad Miller, a 2nd rounder this year, a future 1st rounder and future 2nd rounder and Bogdanovic.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS TEAM GOING TO DO WITH 25 PLAYERS UNDER 24 YEARS OF AGE WHO ALL SUCK!!!!!!!!

They'll be the first team to be winless in NBA history and Kahn will officially be the worst GM in SPORTS history. Well... he already is... just no one is saying it.

I don't understand why folks are bashing Kahn so much.  This is regarded as a very weak draft.  Rather than give a multi-year guaranteed contract to a guy he didn't like, Kahn turned that into a future #1 from Memphis, a couple future #2s, and a ton of cash (presumably).  That's a pretty good return on a bad pick.

I guarantee that Kahn gets more value out of his pick than a lot of other GMs do from theirs.

Congratulations to Jay Bilas and Jeff Van G for combining for a fairly funny joke on the integrity of Duke players. Excellent

The media on twitter is a lot more plugged in than ESPN.  They're announcing trades way before ESPN does.

You can get more valuable than JuAn Johnson?
