Not convinced by J.Johnson as a rotation player next season.

I think the Celtics need to be planning on him being the third string power forward. They need someone in front of him that is more reliable. I think they should bring BBD back.

Would anyone else not be surprised to see Jeremy Tyler still available at 55?
Since I think he's probably horrible I kinda would be actually

Should have held onto Brooks.  The dude will be a scorer off the bench.  Johnson has no bulk and no sloulders.  He will get eaten up down low!

i think you will be surprised about johnson
Not a fan of the Big 10 at all.  The only thing I like about Joihnson is he has to be intelligent to have attended Purdue.  Brooks can score anyway possible.  The Celts need scoring off their bench and someone to step into Ray's shoes.  That was Brooks.

Entire ESPN broadcasting group are astounded at what Minnesota is doing. Kahn is an idiot, I've been saying it for years and people are just now figuring it out??
agreed.  surprised they are just openly hammering him but they do have a point.  at least Mchale varied the types of players he picked.  they usually turned out to be busts but he picked more than PGs and PFs.   ::)
good lord Kahn is still an idiot.  He traded for a lower pick to Miami and a future second rounder from a team that will have one of the top records in the game for years.    ???

Quoting Hollinger:
Quote
Norris Cole is a fantastic pick for Miami. Minnesota now has four #2s, cash, more cash and Brad Miller's insurance money to show for #20

Hollinger also had Brooks as the most overrated player in the draft, for what that's worth.

now he loves him..guy is a putz

I like the Johnson pick just because the Celtics need some size with Shaq retiring, Nenad playing over seas and JO being limited in minutes.

With that being said I am not so sure about not keep the Brooks pick either and not trading it or picking Jordan Hamilton. We'll have to wait and see what the Celtics do with the 55th pick but I'd say it'd be a scorer... maybe SG/SF hybrid.

How accurate has Hollinger's rating system worked in the past?

did the c's get this years 2nd rd pick or next year?

they said "future 2nd round pick" so I doubt that it's this year. I doubt that it's next year as well. I'm guessing a 2013 2nd rounder.

It's a 2014 second.
How'd you find that? I looked everywhere since the second it was announced

I can't believe what Kahn is doing... He SOLD the 31st pick! After moving down from the 20th. I would probably cry if this guy was our GM.

Regarding Johnson, we need bodies right now. No one expected Erden to play last year but he definately contributed... we'll see.

So Kahn traded down from 20 to 23 trading Flynn for Miller and a future 1st

Then traded 23 to 28 for a 2nd this year.

Then traded 28 to 31 for a future 2nd rounder.

Then take Bojan Bogdanovic a SG.

So traded goes Flynn and the 20th(Donatas Montiejunas) for an injured Brad Miller, a 2nd rounder this year, a future 1st rounder and future 2nd rounder and Bogdanovic.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS TEAM GOING TO DO WITH 25 PLAYERS UNDER 24 YEARS OF AGE WHO ALL SUCK!!!!!!!!

They need size with bulk.  Johnson has no bulk.  That dude better hit the weightroom
