Gotta give Cavs front office some props with cap management.  They should be hovering right around the 1st apron with the Harden signing. They're hard capped at it so it shouldn't take much to get under if need be depending on how the Harden deal is structured.

If you look at the advanced stats they actually should win the championship next year.

ahem* Kenny Atkinson *ahem

Out of general curiosity, who did the advanced stats have winning the title at the beginning of last year?
Couldnt have been anyone but OKC

I'd imagine that was probably the case.

George Karl: Some franchises aren?t capable of supporting their legends the right way. Nikola Jokic was on a path to becoming one of the Top 10 players to ever play basketball. That wasn?t realistic in Denver.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The Denver Nuggets have turned their attention to signing DeMar DeRozan, sources told Chris Haynes.

The decision comes on the heels of the team trading Peyton Watson to the Cavs on Wednesday.

I don't think DeRozan is what DEN needs. Defense. Rebounding. Athleticism. Outside shooting. Those are the biggest needs for DEN. DeRozan doesn't provide any of those 4 characteristics.

Still, DeRozan would be an upgrade over Spencer Jones / Julian Strawther so he is worth pursuing.

Per Shams and ESPN: Klay Thompson expected to sign with Miami after clearing waivers.

Wish we could have gotten him.

Klay does not move the needle much at this point. I would rather give those minutes to the young guys.

I think Klay is a middle of the pack bench player now.
