And perhaps the biggest no-brainer selection of any that will be made (until the next pick).

Well it all depends. Have you even had a microwave that loved going out til 3 in the morning, carried around with an obnoxiously large entourage, refused to play a secondary role, and had a grossly distorted view of his own abilities and status within the league?

My microwave generally awaits for my return at 3am. At which point hot pockets are enjoyed

For me a No Brainer, some poeple think it might be a little early, but I dont see that many superlegends left  and for me hes one of them

I am not thrilled, even when having someone who excells at crunch is nice, I think is a little early to look for one quality only.

I see this coming, is not a bad match for the team, for me Steve and him are almost the same of a good pick.

Talking about being unidimentional, applies only when your name is not Dikembe or Rodman and your abilities are easy to replicate, thats not the case with Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo
He can help a LOT in this enviroment IMHO

He was the best offensive player -- and the most clutch player -- on teams that won ten championships.   He was an excellent rebounder, a good passer, a good defender, and one of the best shooters in the NBA (as a guard).

Sam Jones is one of the very best shooting guards in NBA history.  He was only a half-step below Jerry West in his era, which is a pretty big compliment.

Admit it, Edgar:  you pick names out of a hat.   You hate the Lanier pick, but love Dikembe and Parish.  What's that based on?

Yeah, I think he lead the team in scoring every championship year if I'm not mistaken.  I've been loving Redz' picks.  Not every day you get a guy with 10 rings in the 5th round.

Although there's one other guy that is often called the 3rd best guard of the 60s behind Oscar and West.
