With the fourth pick in the fifth round the Indiana Pacers select
Steve Nash

Nash, Wade, and Barkley with Bill Russell in the paint? I really like it. Love the transition opportunities with Russell's help defense and Nash's passing/shooting, along with Barkley/Wade's dominance.

I like zee dunks

I'm not so sure. If I'm a team without a point guard right now I could see myself waiting a ways before making that selection.

Of course.  There will tons of great PGs available every round.  Imagine how many more people in the world are 6'-6'4" than 6'4"+.  Even if the same percentage of PGs are talented enough to make it to the NBA as each other position, that's a TON more people.  Everybody wants to be a professional basketball player, most can't ever be anything other than a PG>
It is more I think there are about 5 or 6 guys that are all in the same general range and thus you can wait a bit since there are that many left.  Certain positions there are much larger drop offs and thus I would be looking at those at this point in time.

Glad everyone seems to like the pick. I think this team is well rounded. Now for some bench players.

With tue 6th pick in the 5th round of the 2011 CB Historical Draft the Miami Heat select

Bob Lanier

I think a lot of folks are going to be about as excited over this pick as they were over Nate Thurmond, but I really like it.

Like your team very much ... you can't please everyone anyway, and we all view the game and players differently, that's what makes this so interesting, especially chemistry-wise. ;)

Trowing long passes to mailman.

I think lack of size on Wings can hurt you

It's interesting to see the different philosophies in action.  Moranis, for instance, is building a squad around uber-athletic modern day players (well, three of his starters), whereas, say, Redz is built around players who dominated other eras.  The discussion at the end of this will be fascinating to see how people think they match up against other teams.
Even Moses and McAdoo are fairly athletic for their time.

I really like the mix on my team.  Good mix of outside shooting and post play at the 4/5 and my three "smalls" are excellent with and without the ball.  Obviously the team will run through Lebron, but I really like the backcourt of Pierce and Paul as a compliment to Lebron.  I envision all sorts of pick and rolls and drive and dish scenarios, with Moses down low to clean up the boards and McAdoo at 10-15 feet for jumpers.
I'd gladly challenge any team to an athleticism contest.  LeBron might be good but my guys would alley-oop all over him.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

What are the athletic events our guys would be competing in?

Ability to refrain from faking the funk on a nasty dunk?

Reggie!  He may have been fairly one-dimensional, but that one dimension was so dang good.

Interesting. Probably not the BPA, but a great fit for your team.

Really good rosters....hard to decide who has the best team.

Indiana, Portland and Miami look a little better than others at the moment.
