And here goes the PGs.

I'm not so sure. If I'm a team without a point guard right now I could see myself waiting a ways before making that selection.
There are a couple of guys that are certainly very good still on the board, but I think you can probably wait.

I picked third and had the 3 PG's taken on my list.  Had I been further down, I probably would have taken my 6th man at this point and not a PG, but I can certainly see where nabbing the PG now would have a positive.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

With the fourth pick in the fifth round the Indiana Pacers select
Steve Nash

Nash, Wade, and Barkley with Bill Russell in the paint? I really like it. Love the transition opportunities with Russell's help defense and Nash's passing/shooting, along with Barkley/Wade's dominance.

Thanks for picking for me Roy.

I'm going with the 08/09 version of Chris Paul.  He was more efficient scorer, a better rebounder, a better defender, and virtually the same passer that year as he was in 07/08.  I know a lot of people look to 07/08 as his best season, but I just don't see it and on a team like this I want the better defender and more efficient player.

Overall I'm very happy with my starting 5, now it becomes interesting for me and what I do with the bench.  I have a couple of different ways to go and I'm just not sure what will win out.

Needed a great shot blocker down underneath and got it. Don't think this will be a popular pick with everyone but figure its what I needed.

Definitely not a bad pick by any means. Its not like he's gonna be mad Karl and Kobe are taking shots.

It is very popular with me. Loved the guy as a player and person.

It's interesting to see the different philosophies in action.  Moranis, for instance, is building a squad around uber-athletic modern day players (well, three of his starters), whereas, say, Redz is built around players who dominated other eras.  The discussion at the end of this will be fascinating to see how people think they match up against other teams.
Even Moses and McAdoo are fairly athletic for their time.

I really like the mix on my team.  Good mix of outside shooting and post play at the 4/5 and my three "smalls" are excellent with and without the ball.  Obviously the team will run through Lebron, but I really like the backcourt of Pierce and Paul as a compliment to Lebron.  I envision all sorts of pick and rolls and drive and dish scenarios, with Moses down low to clean up the boards and McAdoo at 10-15 feet for jumpers.

Thanks for picking for me Nick. I got my guy. Was hoping Jones would last but wanted one more big man.

I think Dikembe is a solid player, but I think he may have been on the board next round.  Still he is a good fit for your team and what you needed, so I can't fault you at all for taking him.

Of course.  There will tons of great PGs available every round.  Imagine how many more people in the world are 6'-6'4" than 6'4"+.  Even if the same percentage of PGs are talented enough to make it to the NBA as each other position, that's a TON more people.  Everybody wants to be a professional basketball player, most can't ever be anything other than a PG>
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Me, too ... good fit for the team ... and I like the Nash pick, (he was my other option).
