Spoiled fans.  Atlanta is playing any 7 footer they can find walking around in the street against Dwight Howard, who's going crazy and the Magic are still losing.  Hornets are forced to play Aaron Grey, and Mbenga against the Laker front-line, and they took a game.  Knicks had to play Turiaf and Jared Jeffries as their centers.  Miami playing Ilgauskus and Anthony.  Any one of these teams would LOVE to have Kristic START for them let alone come off the bench.
Kristic is a young, big, highly skilled center, who was a double-double machine before he was set back with injuries.  I love this team right now.  One week of rest and practice coming up before playing the winner of Miami/Philly.  Our bench is going to own the next series.
I totally agree with you I am spoiled. I am the Mick Jagger of sports fans. I am a NEW ENGLAND sports fan.  I don't just date anyone.  You gotta be a supermodel or some such thing to get in the tent here. And if you're not then I don't want to hear about it. This isn't Atlanta or Milwaukee. We're not a "good enough" town.

Not to bring too much reality to this thread, but Krstic had three double-doubles in 71 games this year.

Um, so you are saying you wouldn't want a machine that worked 4.2% of the time?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he was speaking about his times in New Jersey when he was averaging around 15 and 7 or whatever it was and had the knee injury, not the minor tweak he had while playing on the Celtics. I could be wrong though.

Anyways given the amount of minutes played today it was a solid contribution off the bench, I think that's why the OP is asking for some love seeing as he put up basically the same state line as O'Neal with 14 or so less minutes tonight and everyone has been quick to praise him for his contributions this series.  Every player deserves praise when they play well and contribute.

I have to at least agree with Yogi that Krstic is better than every big he compared Krstic to except Big Z.

Krstic > Semih

That's who's role he has taken over, i'm just excited i didn't have to see Semih in the Playoffs.

In 20 minutes per game.  Hey Mr. Reality, how many would he have if he played 40 mins as a starter?

Seriously.  You give Nenad some love.    :D

No. But honestly. I know it's negative but this thread is perfect evidence to me of how horrid this trade was.  oooohhhh wooowww.....4 points, 5 boards, and 2 blocks.  Let's give some love!

That's what we're reduced to.  That's now a great line for a Celts forward not named KG or Pierce.

Thats pretty much what perk has been averaging in a stat line in the playoffs (4 points 6 rebounds) and his numbers are getting worse, and he's starting and getting far more minutes than either Krstic or Green.

BUT THE TRADE WAS HORRID DUE TO INTANGIBLES AND SCOWLING AND SUCH.

pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft.

Kristic just changed teams and has not had either consistent practice or playing time.  On the new team his role changed half way from starter to bench player.  On top of that he's dealing with a knee injury the extent of which is not clear.  He got his feet wet against the Knicks, one week of rest and practice will have him playing just fine.

I'm comfortable with what he has shown so far in the playoffs. Tough match-ups against the Knicks particularly when they had him guard a perimeter PF. But I thought he was decent defending the post, and he did make some nice defensive plays here and there which was nice to see. Not a great rebounder but he was actively going after the ball.

Now to see if he can be of use offensively going forward and if he becomes a liability against a team like the Heat who go strong to the rim consistently.

I give him love.  Nice efficient game line.  Expect more from him when there isn't an amare as a big.  Against miami we need to force the offense through our bigs and with rondo two glaring weaknesses the heat have

I think the numbers people are looking at is how much we started losing and how much the Thunder started winning.  It must be the scowl

So he's a projected "double double machine"?  That's the phrase you used, so I figured that Krstic's performance regarding actually getting double-doubles was relevant.
