7 and a half minutes, 4 points on 2-2 shooting, five rebounds, an assist and two blocked shots.

With all the negativity on the board (despite the sweep), it's worth pointing out the Krstic bright spot, and hopefully it's a sign that he's getting more comfortable with his role and being on the floor in the playoffs. It's always nice to have a 7-footer who can come in and provide 7 and a half quality minutes.

Yeah.  I was impressed with him today.  All the Celtics bigs did a fine job today.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I thought he looked pretty good today and gave some quality minutes. He contributed and did his job. Hope he keeps that up.

From the very start, Krstic has always been one of the best aspects of the trade. With Krstic playing like is able to, we could easily get 10-15, possibly even 20 points out of him on most nights.

He's a very important weapon for us in these playoffs. Some should not be confused by the fact that he isn't getting too much playing time. In the regular season, we saw clearly how dangerous Krstic can be.

He can be our most productive offensive big man, easily. He has proven that much.

I hope he doesn't play at all in the next series, it'd mean that Shaq is back.

Are Jermaine O'Neal minutes limited? Why isn't he playing more than 25mpg? If Shaq can't go, it'd be important to have Jermaine playing 30 to 35 minutes per game versus Miami.

I think JO would ideally play more minutes, but he has been in constant foul trouble.

The title of this thread reminds me of the South Park episode where they were singing "Getting gay with kids is here!"   and they offered to sing it to the Columbian general and he was like "No. We will not be getting gay with kids"

Seriously.  You give Nenad some love.    :D

No. But honestly. I know it's negative but this thread is perfect evidence to me of how horrid this trade was.  oooohhhh wooowww.....4 points, 5 boards, and 2 blocks.  Let's give some love!

That's what we're reduced to.  That's now a great line for a Celts forward not named KG or Pierce.

Nenad looked great today. I think he recovered from the knee issue he was having earlier in the series.

I'd chalk it up to playing a demoralized team's second unit.

I will say he came out with a couple of surprisingly good defensive plays in the last two games. Hope that trend continues, if we need PT from him.
