Griz are in control of that series.  Amazing.  What does this do to pairings in the second round?   Do the Grizz play the Thunder or do they re-seed the match-ups and play the Lakers?

  • Rondo = Good
Ginobili has been a non-factor and Tim Duncan has had a minimal impact inside.  The Spurs are a shell of their regular season selves.

Right now the Grizzlies look like the 1 seed.  Meh.

OKC to the WCF to be defeated in 7 by the Lakers.

The craziest thing about this game is seeing a Memphis crowd going nuts on national TV.

No ones gonna say anything cause he's Pop, but he keeps benching Tiago Splitter

Umm.... play this guy!

He gives Duncan that second big man he's been looking for

Meh, I haven't seen much from him when he's on the floor.  I think DeJuan Blair is better and ought to be getting more minutes over McDyess.

The Spurs just can't seem to establish an inside outside game at all.  Watching them in this game it seems like they've hardly even had many opportunities to take threes.  That's a huge problem for a team that is so reliant on making three pointers to fuel their offense.

I guess you got to tip your hat to the Grizzlies . . . they are playing really great defense, especially considering the fact that they have Zach Randolph playing major minutes for them.

Yeah, totally right
I guess Charles Barkley was right. This is a bad matchup for the Spurs. Gasol and Randolph are just too big for them down low

If I'm correct in 2007, the Golden State Warriors (8th seed that beat Dallas) played Utah (4th seed). I doubt Stern would change this now.

No reseeding in the NBA.

Plus the Lakers still have a 1st rd team to worry about.   :)

And I wouldn't count the Spurs out just yet.  With 2 at home I'll believe they're out when I see it.

It's this year's playoffs man. Everything is crazy, wild, not as it's supposed to be. I feel like this is some kind of altered world, some kind of alternate timeline, a different dimension... weird.
