....And LA is holding their breath right now.....wow.

hopefully a minor tweak. I've just written that? Injuries are nothing to cheer about...

Agreed.

LA is seemingly running into that a lot here lately - injuries. I don't wish injuries on them, but sooner or later that catches up to you. I haven't seen much of Bynum here lately, too is he hurt?

It seems like the Lakers get more crunch time foul calls (or noncalls) in their favor than any other team in the NBA.  I normally don't put much stock in the conspiracy, David-Stern-wants-this-team-to-win theories, but that does seem like a trend to me.
I don't even care anymore whether it's conspiracy, David Stern, or star-calls; wrong calls just make this game horrible in the last 4 minutes.

I love my blowout wins.

And sweeps.

Oh man, do I love sweeps.

Here's a hint: go Google for images, with the line "I love sweeping" and you'll find a really awesome hamster.

Tense finish.  Not to copy the announcers but this is gonna come down to if anybody other than Paul can make a play for the Hornets.

Answer:  Jarrett Jack  :)

New Orleans should be able to close this out now.

Good one - and even better that it's at the Lakers expense.

A Boston sweep and LA struggling in the first round vs a determined NOH squad - I love it!

Great game by New Orleans.  They have a lot of heart - much different from the team that got blown out by 52 against Denver in the playoffs a couple of years ago.

Totally. It's a bit like two days ago;

Boston wins, LA loses, and all is well in the world of basketball.

But needed to pull out close wins at home in the first two games of the playoffs, don't you remember?

CP3 paying homage to Rondo with the gargantuan triple double.  Incredible player: almost nothing he can't do.  Has shown himself to be the best player in the series.
