A Dallas-Boston Finals would look like an  2000s All Star: Peja, Kidd, Marion, Dirk... against the O'Neals, Pierce, Ray, Garnett.

Portland is too thin inside... but they are talented. Dallas will have to earn this win.

Call me crazy, but Memphis can beat the Thunder in the second round if they exploit that size down low with Gasol, Arthur, and Randolph

And Tony Allen guards Durant very well

LOL. You are saying this on CB? Do you not realize what big the Thunder now have?

Shawn Marion has given the Mavs a couple of very nice baskets in and around the paint tonight. Loving his effort around the rim.

Very good performance from the Mavs in the second half. Good lead.

This has got to make you wonder how the Grizz would be doing with Rudy Gay in the lineup. Seems easy to make the assumption that they would be dominating, but I'm curious as to whether that would change their newly adopted identity as an inside-out, paint-dominating team. Obviously Rudy would help with perimeter shooting and such but he was paid the big bucks to be their franchise player

Nice to see the Grizzlies get another win.

I would enjoy seeing them get to the next round and play the thunder with ex-c's playing key roles in each team.

It was also good to see Powe get some burn at the end aswell, he seems to have increased his range since being on the C's.

Honestly, if the Spurs do not come back from this hole, they really need to think about blowing this team up.

It's just not working.

2007 58 wins (Won Title)
2008 56 wins (Lost in WCF)
2009 54 wins (Lost in 1st Round)
2010 50 wins (Lost in WC Semis)

This year, they abandoned everything they were about and went to a run-and-gun style of play that worked surprisingly well in the regular season. Now they bring that same style that has been proven time and again to NOT work in the playoffs, and they are getting thrashed by a very good 8-seed, but an 8-seed nonetheless.

I don't think they can possibly trade Duncan, but I would start shopping Parker and Ginobili. They are not nearly dependable enough and their value is still kinda high.

We won't know this year... but if they are smart they shouldn't loose a bit. They have good perimeter shooters, but what's been great is their defensive duo Allen-Battier. I wanted both in green for a long time, as some other celticbloggers, so it's great for them to have so many weapons. Rudy Gay isn't IMO a franchise player, so they'll be stuck with him for a long time and they better find a way to make him important.

Right now the Grizzlies could be a nightmare for the Lakers: Conley is playing great, Battier and Tony are great on Kobe, Marc and Zach are able to fight one-on-one against Pau and Bynum, they have good scorers off the bench like Mayo and Arthur... maybe Odom and Artest could be too big to be stopped, but Fish/Kobe/Pau would be having a hard time.

Let's see how the Spurs react

What a truly crazy first round.
