Wow...C'mon Perk! 3 fouls?? OKC needs you on the floor, Big Fella!
Yeah, the refs are still just as picky with Perk as ever ... I wish they'd let him play more, as I'd love to see him kick butt in OKC. (I still have a hard time seeing him in a different uniform, though).
Me too, Man...me too....Perk is a once in a lifetime kinda guy. It is so hard to replace players like him, but I must give credit to our JO...he may not have the same ties or bonds as Perk had here, but he is certainly fitting in. I watched him move within our offense and defense last night, and he seemed so fluid...just like Perk did.
As long as JO likes winning - and I believe he does - he will fit in Boston. He senses that this is maybe his best shot at a ring, and he wants to go out on top. Gotta respect him for that.
If you look at parallels here - between JO and Artest? Artest seems to now be loved Globally since he won that ring, and he played a huge part in that Game 7 last June. He has overcame that Palace incident.
Now - the parallel? JO was his accomplice in that fight. This is JO's opportunity to reconcile, and he is only 13 more wins from that.
Winning doesn't make life perfect, but boy if JO can hold down that 5 spot through June? He closes out his career in grand fashion, to me.
