Nene is a beast.

Yeah, it's a good thing the Thunder have the best low post defender in the league to keep him in check ::)

You mean you don't think Perkins 2 points and 4 rebounds would've helped us tonight?!

Wow, Westbrook playing pretty bad down the stretch.

Edit: or not

One thing you can't take away from Perk is his low-post defense. Nene may be a poor matchup, but I can count on one hand how many centers I would want on defense on the block before Perk.

The inestimable Kendrick Perkins has 2 pts, 3 reb, and 1 block on 1-3 shooting.  He also has 2 turnovers and 2 fouls.

I'll take Jermaine, thanks.

In a fantasy league?

Denver got jobbed by the non basket interference call.  By the way how good have the start of these playoffs been!  Unbelievable!

Yes, the best 1st weekend of playoffs basketball I can remember. Every game decided in the last minutes, not a single double digit win.

OKC has tons of talent... but the Nuggets are the better team. Any George Karl team has a chance to be great, they always lacked the killer instinct.

They are playing better now, and as much as I love Perk, his team will have a hard time in getting past the Nuggets.

I think it will be a good series but I think Thunder will take it.

Thunder may have the best HCA in the league.
OKC doesnt have a 3rd scorer unless Harden steps up

Yes but they have two really good closers in Durant and Westbrook. Something Denver does not have.

Biggest surprise for me today: The Grizzlies are a much better team than I, (and most people), thought. They completely dominated the paint against Duncan, and dug in with great defense when they needed to turn it around. Great job by another underdog.

Must have a pretty big hand.

I had to take a deep breath and think abit when i saw the scores this morning when this thought dawned on me.

Has there ever been a playoffs when i've been alive when i could honnestly say that any given team has a realistic chance to take the next game in all of the series in a round1 playoff series? i cant think of a year when i could say that.

This could shape up to be the best playoffs the NBA has ever seen.

It has been and I think, will continue to be, one of the most competitive playoffs in recent memory.

The top teams in both conferences could have lost to the lower seeds.

Virtually every game has been close and down to the wire.

There have been exactly zero blowouts.

Truly amazing first weekend of NBA playoff action.

Thanks. On the flipside, playing NY seems to have woken us up. Maybe playing phili would have resulted in us sleepwalking all the way to round 2 and losing a game or 2 to the heat because of it. I still would have loved to see a NY-Miami series in round 1.

Sickening.

Boozer jumps into Hibbert misses the shot, then the ref calls a foul.

  • Rondo = Good
The Pacers have a surprising amount of confidence and swagger for an 8th seed.

The Bulls ain't scaring anybody when D-Rose is on the bench.
