New Orleans are horrible from the free-throw line at 5-11.

Man, I've always liked Jack, good to see him cause havoc to the Lakers.

The Hornet's coach is killing this team with this crappy 3 guard unit.

The refs generally allow more contact as the game winds down, which tends to benefit more physical teams like LA.

But the Hornets have done a great job so far of banging on D and using LA's aggressive defense to draw contact.  Too bad they're missing half their FTs.

Chris Paul on another level

Any team that has Chris Paul on it should never be counted out. Best point guard hands down

The same Chris Paul that let his team lose by FIFTY in an elimination game at home two years ago? I'm shocked that this is never brought up with him. At this point in his career that should define him.

So?
Hmm lets scroll down Kobe's resume (Who's thought of as the best in his generation  ::))

-Blew a 24 point halftime lead to the Celtics in Game 4 of the '08 Finals
-Lost the 2006 round 1 series against the Suns after having a commanding 3-1 lead
-Shot below 35% in the 2004 Finals against the huge underdog in the Pistons. Shot the Lakers out of the series
-And last year, shooting 6/24 in Game 7. Needed his teammates to bail him out

I'm shocked that is never brought up when talking about Kobe

Monty Williams/Hornets with some bizarre decisions tonight.  Open the 2nd half by running the offense through everyone but CP3.  Leaves Willie Green in single coverage against Kobe for multiple possessions.  Then double teams when Ariza is on Kobe.

If the Hornets don't win, I will say that they did a good job playing the Lakers. People thought that without West they would get blown out and swept, but they're putting up a fight against them. Heck every 8th, 7th, 6th, and 5th seed is giving the top teams problems. I hope the Celtics are realizing how tough the playoffs are this year.

Kobe having to guard Paul is tiring him out for his offense it seems.

Paul absolutely befuddled Gasol there.  Reminded me a little of Steve Nash abusing big men.

Ariza also makes him exert more energy for his shots.
