So yea pretty much don't see how the Heat will be stopped - the strategy seems to work let Wade dominate the first half to open the game while Bosh gets what's leftover - all while James is just playing decoy resting getting assists and in the 4th at the halfway mark then it's LBJ time and he takes over

They discovered this sometime in our series and have been doing it ever since

  • It's not hard to work hard.
The worst thing about Miami is that they often don't even play well, they just have 2 guys that can make ridiculous bailout shots and one guy who is all-star level.

THIS is why any Celtics talk about "the future" this past season was, and is pure fantasy. It's Miami's league after this season, with Chicago hanging around if something crazy happens. This was it.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I want the Bulls to win but they're just getting exposed out there... They haven't looked good since the playoffs started. Ever since Orlando lost in round one the Bulls were basically write-ins to get to the ECF. Lots of people thought they might even sweep both Indiana and Atlanta. All they've done is struggle to beat the teams they were supposed to beat. Now against an elite team they just don't look that great

not really, if rondo was healthy the celtics probably win , or at least a game 7

game 4 was decided in overtime with a 50% rondo, with a healthy rondo the series is tied 2-2 and game 5 we had in the bag but cracked in the end, a healthy rondo and maybe were up 3-2

i think the celtics can get a championship next season with some roster improvements but next year is the last year

The Heat are starting to look every bit as good as we thought they'd be when the trio first got together last summer.  A Mavs vs. Heat rematch looks inevitable at this point.  I'm really worried that the Heat are gonna win it all.

Wade and LBJ are probably the two best players in the NBA . . . they are at least both in the top 5.  Bosh isn't always dominant playing alongside those two but he's capable of taking over, too.  They are a truly terrific Big 3 (and I mean that literally).

Blah.  At least they aren't the Lakers.

I could actually see myself not watching the NBA. I love the Celtics but I don't know if I'll be able to watch Stern's boys dominating for half a century. It will be ugly.

With that said, Go Dallas!

I think the only real hope for the future is in Oklahoma City, with Chicago as a dark horse each year.

Probably true but let's get Dirk his ring, maybe (just maybe) players will reconsider taking their talents to South Beach.

I think the best hope for keeping the Heat from becoming too stacked is not other teams winning, but rather the new CBA seriously limiting the Heat's options for adding new players -- basically giving them the draft and the veteran minimum and nothing else.

Let's hope so. But if Miami wins this year, we're all doomed, in a basketball sense of course. Maybe it's not even good for the league. I would love the irony in that: Stern's new favorite team winning and in the process, killing the league's popularity. Ah, dreams, dreams, at least they're for free.

I'm trying to figure out who really thought Chicago had  a chance. I knew since people were praising them that they wouldn't win. They rely too much on Rose and when he's in a drought no one on that team can step up enough to help. Boozer has been completely inconsistent and has done nothing that was promised of him in the beginning of the season. Bulla fans got mad when people including myself said it, but they are the Chicago version of the Cavs with slightly better players in certain positions.
I knew Miami would win when they beat Boston now hopefully Dallas can win this year because that's the only team I see winning and that's barely seeing them win.

Personally if Miami wins about 3 or more championships I would just be mad. Not at them completely, but at the fact that it could've been Boston winning 3 straight, but their luck with injuries ruined them. It would not be fair to see this big 3 go out with only one championship because of some injuries that ruined their luck at the wrong time.

He gotta get his ring this year. He stayed with that team throught thick and thin (him starting out and the team as a whole)and he deserves it no matter what. And yes lets just hope people don't follow them to win championships there.
I just can't take seeing LeBron Wade and their egos winnning year after year and seeing the lovefest that they would get year after year. I wouldn't even watch sports media for a while.
The only thing that can hurt them is the new cap or injuries like the Celtics have had. I hate to wish injuries towards a player since I can feel a fans pain of a player injured so I say hopefully the new CBA cap stops them.

People are already angry (well not Miami fans) about what has happened and what's gonna happen if they win. They say if LeBron wins this year he can make Nike around 4 billion dollars. People who read that starting thinking the NBA and Stern are out to help the Heat win due to profits from that. Yes even some Lakers fans are mad about it too thinking the refs and Stern are gonna help LeBron win this year.

Am I supposed to believe Nike couldn't have profited heavily from Lebron winning a championship in the last few years, too? Lebron's been with Nike since 2003; pay attention, guys. This by itself proves little, if nothing.

Correction - it could have been Boston set up to win 4-5 championships in 10 years if the Big 3 had gotten together when they were 4-5 years younger, as the Miami Thrice did.
