Dirk Nowitzki - 6/7 from the field and 9/9 from the FT line for 22 points in 19 minutes. Wow.

That man is a freak of nature.

--------------------------------------------

Needs to do more on the backboards though. Only 2 rebounds in 19 minutes. Those are PG numbers. Not 7 footer numbers. Oklahoma has 9 offensive rebounds to 10 Dallas defensive rebounds. Dallas needs to protect their backboards better and Dirk needs to play a larger role in that.

Kidd and Marion too. Both of those guys only have 1 rebound in 16 minutes each. Not enough for rebounders of their quality.

Bad turnovers by Ibaka (shot clock, passed when he should have shot, not enough time for Thabo to get it off) and Perkins (fadeaway off the spin with Tyson in his face, forced to pass).

A lot of turnovers in this one. Turnovers + exceptional shooting. Odd combo.

Wow, got to admit, Perkins is playing like a statue in the second half.

13 shots for Westbrook and 8 for Durant?   Start a different point guard in the second half.

Durant has taken many more shots than Westbrook this series and has led the team in FGA in each of their games against Dallas. Where is this coming from? Maybe Durant should be taking less shots since the Thunder were actually winning this game

Lovely pass by Westbrook in transition to Collison for the dunk.

Ohhh, Kidd threads a lovely bounce pass through traffic to Terry as he goes backdoor on Sefolosha. Not to be out-done by Westbrook.

Oklahoma making a little push here. Got the lead back up to 9 after Dallas cut it to 2.

Nice steal by Jason Terry. Great job helping Peja out who got stuck on Durant and was clearly in trouble. A couple of other Dallas defenders where closing in on Durant's dribble drive too. Good defense.

The Thunder coach said the magic words:  "attack the basket"

Dallas are getting killed on the backboards. 33-18 in favour of OKC. They'd be winning this game if not for the rebound differential.

At least they gotten the turnover situation under control and OKC have not (yet). That is keeping them within in distance, possession wise.

Serge is such a presence in the paint..and he's so young.

Him and a healthy Perk next season? Along with Nick and Nazr?

Deep and talented..and the parts all fit.

I hate Barea, but man, I love the way he keeps attacking the basket.

I like this Russell Westbrook better when he is dishing and swishing.

Dirk has been quiet in the second half. Only 4 points. 2-7 shooting. No FTs. 2 rebounds in 15 minutes.

Oklahoma now ahead 45-21 on the boards. They have won this game by beating Dallas to loose balls.
