Michael Jordan + Michael Jordan, and I have left you all in the dust.

More to the point if you combined MJ with someone else you'd end up with MJ, as he'd never be able to coexist with another skillset.

Rondo + Ray Allen.
Cs would have the best PG in the league and would be guaranteed to win #18!

"We can rebuild him...we have the technology,"

Danny and Doc, grab your scalpels. We have our 6 million dollar man (or with current salaries more 20 million)   ;D
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Ray Allen and Allan Ray

Which name would you go with?
Ray Allan?
Allen Ray?

Ray Ray, obviously.

Ray2
I'd rather see Allen Allen.  Iverson's speed+crossover with Ray's stroke?  Goodbye.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Kevin McHale's post moves with Kareem's sky hook.

Impossible to guard.

I think that's true, most choices have excluded Jordan because his skill set is so complete and part of the fun here is matching people with complementary skills.

I will say this though: Jordan's one area of mediocrity was long-range shooting. So why not Jordan + Ray Allen?

I still think KG and Shaq would be the best.

You'd have a durable Shaq with KG's lateral movement and ability to hit both jump shots and free throws. KG also would solve many of Shaq's effort issues with regards to keeping in shape and taking half of seasons off.

Combining Kareem with someone else might work too, but of guys I've seen I think KG/Shaq would be ridiculous.

Derrick Coleman and Ben Wallace.

Derrick had more talent coming into this league then other PFs like Webber or Kemp.  He was just so lazy.

Wallace came in undersized and worked his tail off.

This combo, top 5 PF all time.

Bill Walton with anyone with healthy feet and back

Kobe Bryant and Vin Baker so Kobe would drink himself out of the league

I think Rodman or Ben Wallace with ANYBODY 5 inches taller would be crazy.  Give either of those guys a little bit more height and they would go from two of the best defenders and rebounders of all time to I don't even know.

David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels

Just because I'd enjoy watching this player play:  Charles Barkley + Hakeem Olajuwon

Lots of redundant skills, still sort of undersized, etc., but Hakeem Barkley would be a lot of fun to watch.

I think the versatility alone would make this combo a beast.  Neither guy has ever really had the ability to play both PF/C but after the merge they would be a matchup nightmare.

  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!

this might be my winner

What would these 2 be lacking? Defense and athleticism?

I think I've seen better combos on here

Magic lacks anything well not that much, but athleticism.
Both above average defenders specially position wise
and come one

Imagine that No. in clutchness.
No more.
Just dreammy.

Has anybody mentioned KG + Larry?  Larry with more length and some of the greatest defense of all time.  Or, if KG doesn't play in the post enough for your liking, Duncan + Larry.  Both would be sick combinations.
