no, but doc needs to realise when someone is having a bad game or not, and change the rotations accordingly. If rondo isnt feeling it one night(and he hasnt the last couple games) you need to play more arroyo or west....same with if Green is feeling it vs. pierce..

unfortunately, this game it seemed like no one was feeling it besides garnett, allen and davis

Mo Williams started over Delonte in Cleveland...and the last time I checked, Mo Williams didn't even reside in the same zip code as Rondo.

Not in the same zip code? I have time believing this when Williams just torched Rondo a few games ago.

I'm not surprised you have a hard time believing this...infact, I'm surprised you used "hard" instead of something like "that's ridiculous" or something similar. Believe what you want...Mo Williams never was and never will be a better PG than Rondo.

Okay, the original poster said, "Williams is not in the same zip code as Rondo." I said, I have a hard time believing that when Rondo was torched by Williams a few games ago." You implied that I said Williams was a better point guard. I never implied that. I said how could Williams not be in the same zip code when Williams just dismantled Rondo a few games ago. The fact is that Williams is a lot closer to equal ground of a player than people here would like to admit, but I never said Williams was clearly better like you implied.

I think Rhondo is still messed up in the head over the Perkins trade.

I kinda think he has lost his confidence since losing his teamate.

I really wonder if he belives his team can make it back to the finals without his buddy Perkins.

D. West needs to return and give this team some shots, paint drives, and some LEADERSHIP.

Standing around moping and making silly fouls isn't going to beat the LA.

That came out wrong...but is it really hard to know what you think of Rondo?

I wish Ainge did a Rondo for Nash + picks trade at the deadline.
He's probably better than Earl Boykins
Yes, it looks like he's on drugs. I'm not even joking or "trolling." I'm being serious. If you watch when he's on the bench, the kid looks high.
I'd rather have Avery Bradley attempt a half-court double teamed bomb shot with the game on the line than have Rondo attempt an open 15 footer.
It was official that Rondo couldn't shoot years ago. I'd rather have Dennis Rodman shooting with the game on the line than Rondo.
Rondo, a guy who makes Shaq's jump shot look wet.
Just because he put up good stats doesn't mean he had good games.

..and after reading your posts in the "Rondo is overrated" thread...its not very hard to interpret your feelings about him. That's why I implied what I did in my last post. I mean, you think Rondo is "probably" better than Boykins.

We've got one championship, made it two finals and one conference semi finals appearance with the same PG. During all that, we've beaten Mo Williams and Delonte's team twice in the playoffs. Rondo was a big reason why we beat the Cavs last year.

Why did these threads not come up when Rondo was having those really good performances to begin the season? He was and is still the same player with the same talent...he will get out of this slump sooner or later and give us the kind of performances we've come to expect from him.

But if people want to eat crow later, I'll be happy to take their orders now. ;) :P

TP for the posting research you did there :). I was joking about the Rodman and Avery Bradley lines, however, if that makes any difference. Anyway, I guess we'll agree to disagree. I respect your post.

I think its a valid topic, Rondo has been playing absolutely terrible as of late, and he isnt making us any better by turning the ball over and shooting jumpers, that is not what he is here for.

If Rondo isnt going to play like he should because he is hurt, then Delonte should be starting until Rondo is ready to preform.

I will say that Rondo should sit a game if he's truly injured. I did see him go to the locker room for some reason just when I was getting back to my seat. Something's up. We might hear something before Wednesday, who knows.

I don't know about starting but I have been convinced for a while that Delonte will be finishing for Rondo.
