i gotta say, out of all the point guards, rondo is one of the last true point guards. Him, Nash, and possibly Parker or CP3 can be considered one. DRose, DWill, and Westbrook are all scorers, not true pointguards.
Now if we are talking about TRUE point guards, my list would be: Rondo, Nash, CP3, Parker, DWill.
Now if we are talking about scorers in the point position, Rondo wouldnt even be in the top 10, maybe even 20! Rondo is not a scorer, but can score. There is a difference. He chooses to pass the ball and play team basketball (which is why the Celts are goin to the Finals...AGAIN!) rather than score the ball and play 1v5 basketball (which is why DRose and the Bulls aren't making it to the Finals....AGAIN!)

Rondo needs to score period. No more passing on the fast break when you have an open layup. He is passing up easy lay-ins and taking 3pt shots instead.

If Rondo is not passing, he is a very ineffective ball player.

i'd probably say that chris paul and deron are better than him this year.

derrick rose is about the same, but rondo can't take over a game like rose can.

i would never take kidd, westbrook, nash, parker, or any other point guard other than my top three, hell maybe not even the top three.

hmmm....

give him two years. he'll be the best then.
