Why should we settle for him being a backup? He's already a better shooter and has better fundamentals than Rondo. He's a better fit beside the "big three", while Rondo could be a spark plug off the bench for us. In the off-season, we could look to trade Rondo for a better fit, like Mo Williams or Ray Felton.
(Even saying that sarcastically hurts. Vomit. I do like the Arroyo signing, though.)
You know Roy I briefly thought someone highjacked your moniker here. Then in really small print for old eyes I saw the sarcasm.
I am very happy danny got arroyo who is a true pg. I think we've taken care of the PP backup but Bradley is not a backup (so far

) and we really have piled the minutes onto Rondo. Bradley is an nba defender for man on but every other aspect of his game points towards he should have stayed in college. DWest is a combo guard who can fill a stat sheet but is not really a point guard. I think if delonte stayed healthy this year he would have been very important in making the win lost record something to be impressed at. Sadly the only guy that delonte has "outplayed" on the celtics this year is Jermaine ONeil. Delonte's style has always been all out with the chance of injuries galore. I hope we can count on him soon but if not arroyo is possibly the best backup we've had for rondo. Of course the choices are eddie who couldn't bring the ball up with pressure but could shoot lights out, sam cassell who thought he was still an all star, marbury who was cooked, nate a 5'8" shooting guard, telfair, pruitt, and bradley. jeez
