Leon Powe has been waived by the Cavs and is open to a return to Boston according to Jessica Camerato. He will also consider the Magic and Knicks.

  Pretty funny, considering the plethora of posts attacking Danny last year for treating Powe so badly.

Joel Pryzbilla seems to make sense. I suppose Charlotte is trying to make the playoffs, but considering the move to get him in the first place was a cost cutting measure -- it's possible.

Me too. He's a good bench player. I'm surprised Charlotte waived him. I'd sign him to a longer contract.

I think they got a Wolves 2nd rounder. I don't think Anthony Parker adds much at this point. If there was interest, they'd just include him in the trade anyway.

Pass.  Ainge traded away injured players, I don't think he's about to sign one.

Didn't Powe say he was upset at how the Celtics treated him when they didn't make him an offer?  Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but...

And what's this "He will also consider the Magic and Knicks."?  Have the Magic or Knicks contacted Powe's agent?  Just wondering what makes him think that the Knicks or Magic, or even the Celtics want him?

I think at this stage if you just mention "knees" to Danny Ainge he'll turn a funny colour!

It seems that a number of the players that were assumed to be buyout candidates or at least tradebait aren't going to be available.  I'm very surprised Parker wasn't obtained in that Cleveland deal---I think that's what made so little sense about that deal.

I can only hope Danny's got some deals arranged under the table to bring in another big man (Camby or Dalembert would be really solid -- moreso than Murphy) and at least another backup PG.  I don't want to have to rely on Delonte staying healthy with no insurance.  Also, another real SF or a player that can swing between SG/SF would be ideal. 

I still don't like these deals, mostly because Danny has only brought in 2 bodies that don't begin to equal the talent that went out the door and he's relying on waiver-wire pickup to shore up the bench.  I just feel that's a pretty iffy plan for a title.

Man I would LOVE Joel Pryzbilla in Green....

Toughness and an interior presence? Joel brings that every night. I like him better than Murphy, myself.

He's long, at 7'1".

I have not seen Joel back down from anyone. He brings an edge about him.

I haven't watched any Hawks games this year, but I thought Bibby was playing bad since 2008.  Would you want Bibby or TJ Ford?  Ford is much smaller, but seems like a more effective point guard.
