Do you think he would be a good pickup? With the way West played last night Idk if it is worth it.. Though would be a good vet, and let West run the 2.

He's a guarantee to sign with the Knicks, apparently.

Absolutely. That huge body of his would be enormous. I hope he does get bought out and Danny sells, sells, sells.

Bibby ..

http://washingtonexaminer.com/sports/nba/2011/02/report-bibby-wants-buyout

I haven't watched any Hawks games this year, but I thought Bibby was playing bad since 2008.  Would you want Bibby or TJ Ford?  Ford is much smaller, but seems like a more effective point guard.

Rondo's better! Clap clap clapclapclap.

There's a reason these guys are getting bought out. They aren't exactly all-stars.  Half the reason to sign them is to keep them away from other teams.

I don't really care who they sign or how he does at first. It will take a little while before reappointing Danny Ainge a genius just because he brings in a Troy Murphy.

Oh look! It's a backup for our backup!  What a great buyout! Danny really knew something we didn't.

It's like trying to be excited because the Pats trade away Brandon Spikes for a 7th rounder and then signs Junior Seau for the season.

There is a reason they are getting bought out....to save teams money.

Of course they aren't all stars here, but there are plenty of serviceable/even pretty good players who will be available because of a buyout.

This is nothing like football/hockey/baseball.

I would consider Bibby to keep him away from Miami.

Dalembert isnt going anywhere. Kings had multiple teams interested in trading for him, but the Kings (and one Maloof came right out and said it a few weeks ago) that they intend on re-signing him.

Pryzbilla would make the Perk move a lot easier to understand. He is Perkins when it comes to toughness and he is a very good defender. Even worse on offense than Perk was, but he can help us alot on Howard/Bynum.

Jeffries ... no thanks.

I would really like Murphy. He seems to be the cream of the crop.

Leon Powe is an interested name too, but we need some full size bigs on this roster, not undersized PF's.

I would absolutely love to sign Pryzbilla or Dalembert, but like people have said, buyouts may be unlikely. Pryz gives 90% of what Perk does and Dalembert is probably a better weak side and help defender than Perk.

Buyouts may be unlikely, but crazier things have happened. Lets hope.

Haven't read the whole thread, but where is this Camby stuff coming from?  I have heard it on the radio too, but have yet to hear a source.

A Camby buy out would make absolutely no sense for Portland, who just traded away their backup center, and were already thin at that spot.
