Don't see why Dalembert's name is here. Reports are that Sacramento was offered some offers for him, but would prefer to keep him in hopes of resigning him (for lesser money) in the offseason.

Joel Pryzbilla seems to make sense. I suppose Charlotte is trying to make the playoffs, but considering the move to get him in the first place was a cost cutting measure -- it's possible.

Man I would LOVE Joel Pryzbilla in Green....

Toughness and an interior presence? Joel brings that every night. I like him better than Murphy, myself.

He's long, at 7'1".

I have not seen Joel back down from anyone. He brings an edge about him.

Totally agre, Pryzbilla is very much like Perk with his defense, intensity and toughness. He would be my first choice of big mnen to sign

Pryzbilla
Dalembert
Camby
Murphy

in that order

Bibby ..

I haven't watched any Hawks games this year, but I thought Bibby was playing bad since 2008.  Would you want Bibby or TJ Ford?  Ford is much smaller, but seems like a more effective point guard.

Rondo's better! Clap clap clapclapclap.

Loving the possibilities of landing Pryzbilla, Dalembert, or Camby. If any of these three end up in green you have to turn around and say the Perk trade was easily a net positive all things considered.

Also, scoop up Derrick Brown. Solid wing player off the bench ATHLETICISM.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
TJ Ford and either Butler or Moon, perhaps both, are high candidates.

I understand Ford, but why do we need another 3? Wasn't that the point of yesterday's trade? I'd go for a stretch 4, a shot blocker and either a PG or a vet SG like Rip. I don't know if the Rip idea is dead--he turned down a buy out from Cleveland because the money didn't work for him, does that mean Detroit is just gonna bench him? They may want the roster spot to pick someone they could use on the cheap themselves.

Looks like J. Jeffries is in the process of being bought out, but is also likely headed to Knicks.

Since the Knicks have a full roster, that means someone will be let go.

Celtics fan for life.

Agreed on the centers.  Dalembert would be perfect on both ends.  I'd love to see a C that can catch Rondo's alley-oops.  Dalembert would actually be an upgrade from Perk on the offensive end and defensively would not be much of a drop off.  A better shot blocker but worse position defender.  But that's what Baby is for.

Since my first message didn't seem to do the trick, here's the quote in larger font

Don't count on either happening. Sources say the Kings have rebuffed a number of trade offers for Dalembert and have no intention of buying him out after the deadline.

But the Kings have maintained that they want Dalembert on their team for the rest of the season and may actually have interest in extending him beyond this season.

we could really use a tough nut like pryzbilla. IDK if he will be bought out.

i'd almost prefer if none of these guys get bought out, that way miami doesn't get a chance to fill their biggest need.

maybe in very limited minutes. but bibby is not well liked amongst his peers, and he's one of the worst defensive players in the NBA.

Good Point, StartOrien...I can't see any realistic way that SAC lets Dalembert walk, either. The guy is putting up double-double numbers here lately, and is good insurance for Cousins.

The New Jersey Nets will likely buyout Dan Gadzuric, source tells HOOPSWORLD. He's another cheap option for teams that need frontcourt help.

"Sources" aren't always accurate.  Putting it in bold doesn't make it any more accurate.  And this is a "who COULD be available" thread, not a who "is" available thread.

He's awful.. Really hope we could get Joel Priz, and troy Murphy. Making Jeff the primary backup 3
