To be honest I would rather have Brewer than Parker. I think Brewer is just good enough to back up Pierce this year and also will help us post Big 3. I know it's very risky tho and wouldn't be mad if we got Parker

I'd rather have Brewer too.  I've been on this kid since we lost Tony.  I really think he'd thrive here.  Of course, he could come here and fall flat on his face, but I don't think so.  He was really excited to play with KG when he was drafted by Minny, but then KG was traded and he never got to play with him.  He's a pretty good defensive player and what I like most is, HE'S YOUNG.

Random guess:  Celts are probably okay giving up this year's, but want to hold onto the 2012 pick (which the Cavs prefer since it's a deeper draft).

I think that's likely the case, plus they could also be haggling over protections.
