I think we've seen a number of players improve their defense wit the C's.
both MD and Wafer steped up defensively this year.
with Warrick's athleticism and length he could be a solid defender in this system

We'd be giving up way too much if that's what we traded for Pietrus.  He's a borderline buyout candidate at this point, and PHX doesn't even need him.  They're just shopping other wings because they want to save more money.

I don't think we can afford to take risks about our chance of getting 18 this year. This team was built to win now. and not trading Nate and a pick to shore up our main weakness and hope a decent option gets bought out AND decides to sign with us is too risky.

bradley or luke may end up solid players in the league but as i've said before...

I've been a Warrick supporter since his Cuse days, but yeah, he plays much too soft for Celtics ball.  And even if the effort is there, he's not quick enough to defend the 3 well and not strong enough to defend the 4.  He'd help us beat some bad teams but disappear against the good ones.
