When do buy outs begin? We need a guy who is a little bigger than Wafer and who has a bit more savvy. And don't forget Wafer's attempts at defending Kobe.We have absolutely no backup 3 at the moment. We cannot continue that way.Agreed, we can't count on West/Wafer to back up the SG/SF position. They might end up being the best option even with whomever else we get, but we still need some more depth.

From Alex Kennedy's TwitterThe New York Knicks are shopping Corey Brewer and Renaldo Balkman to open roster spots for potential free agents. http://tinyurl.com/4eueqpjWhat about a 1st and a 2nd for Corey Brewer? I like him as Pierce's backup.

Just not the SF position. We need a bigger wing who is a legit defender at the 3.
From Chad Ford on his chat:We're monitoring a few things with the Celtics, Cavs, Rockets, Jazz, Bulls and Grizzlies ... and by definition, with 1 hour to go ... things are close. But no, no new deals to report yet.
