The Red Sox clearly have enough talent on the team to get right back into it despite the terrible start to the season . . . but it's difficult not to wonder if the paper-thin, inconsistent bull-pen is not too much of a liability for them to seriously contend in September and October.Good to hear that Pedroia's injury isn't that bad.
Since the 2-10 start they may be playing their best ball since 2004. This team is just dominant right now and is starting to live up to all the hype they were receiving nationally before the season. We are truly blessed here in Boston with our sports teams since 2000. I am not sure ANY town has had such a sustained run of sports excellence in their town across all four major sports before.

It concerns me somewhat that they are winning mostly with hitting and not pitching, though. I still think the end of the rotation and the bullpen are fairly large question marks for the Red Sox. But there's not much to complain about, anyway.
How awesome is Gonzalez!Really nice job by the Sox taking 2 out of 3 in Tampa facing some quality pitching for the first time in a while.
