Salt Lake Flappers:

PG: Jameer Nelson
SG: J.R. Smith
SF: Jason Richardson
PF: Zach Randolph
C: Joakim Noah

I really like my front court, and the range my wings have. Concerned about team chemistry/experience and hope to remedy that with some veteran picks.

Would love to get some feedback before next round of picks

OK, my turn to be tossed under the bus.

San Antonio Spur(ned):
PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Manu Ginobili
SF: Richard Hamilton
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Chris Kaman

I know it's a geriatric squad but all are winners or [dang] good for their positions.  I need to fill out the bench with some youth and versatility.

Thoughts?

Ideally, you'd pick up a good small forward.  That way, you could slide Richardson to the 2, and bring Smith off the bench.  Also, I'd like to see somebody who can handle the ball other than Jameer.

I don't like J-Rich at the 3. He's not as bulky as you'd like, and now with 3's trending bigger and faster, J-Rich won't have the advantage he once did. But, then you have JR Smith at the 2, so you can't really switch them.

I think a solid role-playing 3 (guys like Grant Hill, for instance) would do wonders for you, and it would allow you to bring JR Smith off the bench.

I like your back court a lot.

I don't trust Hamilton to play SF; it's just not really his position.  I think he'll get muscled there.

I think you're going to have trouble in the front court.  Duncan has lost a step, and doesn't really have the mobility to be a full-time power forward any more.  Kaman is injury prone and defensively deficient.

I'd like your team more if you slotted Duncan at center, and either brought Kaman off the bench or moved him for a better power forward.

Go defensive center
I like your team
is drafted CrotorNat style

and like Principal page said

Vets win championships

Maybe a long SF who plays PF and defense
and a defensive Center and youre set

PG: Kyle Lowry
SG: Landry Fields
SF: Paul Pierce
PF: Serge Ibaka
C: Andrew Bogut

I'd also like some feedback. Where should I shore up my bench first? Scoring, sure, but where? The 3/4? The 4/5? The 2/3? The 1/2?

BPA.  You could use some versatility at both the 4/5 and the 1/2.

I have nothing else to add here. My thoughts exactly.

I think a stretch 4 would help. And a scoring wing option. This would allow you to mix and match scoring with glue, depending on what situations call for.

That's an awesome nucleus for a championship, I just think you need to make sure the rest of the way you get

Harder.
Better. Younger
Faster.
Stronger.

I'd plan to move Ginobli & Kaman to the bench and expect Rip to play 15-25 minutes per game with a fast defensive SG/SF

Sounds like a Nuprin commercial. Oddly appropriate for a team that feels the aches and pains of age.
