PG:Kidd/Jack
SG:Rip Hamilton/Miles/Young
SF:Maggette/Barnes/Bogans
PF:Dirk/Brandon Wright/S. Williams
C:Gortat/Turiaf

Dirk, Rip, Kidd all having good years as expected

Maggette having a bit of a down year in limited minutes for the real life bucks.

Gortat playing well in limited minutes for the magic, would love to see what that guy could do in real minutes.

Wright has been a bit of a disappointment again but Shelden has been better than could have ever been expected.

My real positives have been in my SF/SG postions

CJ miles has been excellent for the Jazz and so has Nick Young for the wiz

barnes has been very solid for the Lakers this year as much as i wish he wasnt and Bogans has started 24 games for the Bulls.

And Jack has played well in limited minutes again this year.  Made a definite impact on the raptors and hasnt gotten enough minutes since being traded to the hornets
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Dirk's MVP caliber year is easily the best thing going for you. That cannot be understated..it is not a knock on the rest of your guys, but just a testament to how good Dirk has been. Just all-around good, even defensively.

I've got to say, I'm happy with how the Fake Kings turned out.

Guards: Derek Rose, Courtney Lee, Francisco Garcia, Jeff Teague, Devin Brown
Forwards: Carlos Boozer, Zach Randolph, Rashard Lewis,  Richard Jefferson, Jared Jeffries
Centers:  Erik Dampier, Johan Petro, Drew Gooden

Rose is having an MVP-like season (24.2p / 4.5r / 8.1a, with 38% from three).  Boozer is putting up 20 / 10 on 55% shooting.  Most importantly, both of those guys are playing very good defense, with the "real life" Bulls having the 2nd best defense in the NBA.

Zach Randolph is beasting (20p / 13r / 50% shooting).  Then, we've got Richard Jefferson looking excellent as a fourth option (13p / 4r, .576 eFG%).  Rashard Lewis looks great now that he's been traded (13p / 8r / 36% 3PT%, and seeing a lot of minutes at SF).  Francisco Garcia has looked great lately, and is averaging 14 and 4 as a starter, shooting over 50%.  Courtney Lee has seen limited playing time, but he's playing great defense and is shooting over 40% from three.  Jeff Teague is looking good as a backup, and is bombing from downtown (38.5%).  Drew Gooden is scoring and rebounding, and is a starter on the 5th best defensive team in the NBA.  Erick Dampier is contributing good defense on a title contender.  On the deep bench, Jared Jeffries is doing what he normally does, playing great D.

Obviously, the squad isn't perfect, but it's pretty dang good.  The team is extraordinarily efficient offensively, and defensively the players are getting it done as key contributors on great defenses in "real life".

At this point of the season, I don't see any team that can beat the Kings in a playoff series.

Well.. my kids

Perkins is BACK

and JOel and Brad showed theyre more than capable backups in the meantime.

Jameer playing great
The record breaker Allen shines
Pierce is well.. the capitan of this year champion
David lee is back to be a 20-10 machine
PErkins is BAAAAAACK

Delonte is close to coming back
The backup bigs gives an ultra solid rotation Anhony and Miller.

NOW I admitt we probably just have a .500 record by now
maybe.600 but from now on , its all downhill baby

I am still offended that I was left out of playoffs, let alone ECF

Thank you.

After a really rough start, my teams back to playing at a high level. Probably looking at a rotation of

Baron Davis / Rudy Fernandez / Terrence Williams
Wesley Matthews / Deshawn Stevenson
Hedo Turkoglu / John Salmons
Antawn Jamison / Ed Davis
Dwight Howard / Greg Monroe

Backup PG is still pretty weak w/ Rudy & T-Will both being significantly worse than where I had them projected.

Still, I feel A LOT better about the team now than I did a month ago. I still think we'd have a good chance at winning the belt.

Wow how is that going to work? Where is the interior defense?

Are you sure Zach Randolph has matured enough?

Yep, and I'm happy with that combo.  Boozer has played primarily at center in Chicago, and they're the best defensive team in the NBA this year.  Randolph has also played a large chunk of minutes at center in Memphis, and his defensive metrics the past two years have been above-average.

I'm exceptionally pleased with how my "team" has been playing this year, and I don't think anybody would be able to stop Sacramento's "big three" consistently.

I love when you drop the whole 'mod' thing and just go back to your roots in standup comedy.

I tell you guys, you don't know because he's the administrator/Overlord for the forums, but he is seriously a funny guy. Just a great sense of humor, which you see above in his obvious joshing around regarding his team.

I was a huge Randolph hater for a long time.  Sad to say, the man has grown up.  Heck, he was the one who stepped in between Tony Allen and O.J. Mayo in an attempt to break up the fight.  His defense has improved, his efficiency has improved, and his leadership has improved.

I do enjoy the theoretical arguments that "Player X doesn't play defense" or "Player Y can't play at center", when in fact Player X is an above-average defender and Player Y does, in fact, play center.  It's like we live in an alternate reality.

Gotta disagree.  He puts up stats, but those stats help the team win.  Memphis is once again in playoff contention this year, with Randolph being a big part of that.  That's despite the out of control locker room and poor coaching.  Also, in terms of being a black hole, he ranks in the top 30 of all big men in terms of assists.  Passing isn't a particular strength of his, but he's in the top half of starting big men in terms of moving the ball.
