  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Before anybody votes for the Suns over the Kings in the regular season, I'd encourage people to look at:  1) The Suns having two rookies in their rotation (with no viable backups behind them); 2) Baron Davis' injury history (i.e., he *will* miss at least 5 - 10 games this year); and 3) Phoenix's lack of a backup PG.

Kings vs. Suns in the playoffs is epic, but I think the Kings are better suited to win in the regular season.  They're healthier and deeper.

I'd encourage people to look at Dwight Howard. Just look at him. Look at him, then look at yourself. Then back at him, now back to yourself. You don't look like him, and neither does Zach Randolph, Erik Dampier, or Carlos Boozer.

I forgot to copy my rankings, so these could be a tad off. They're definitely the 8 I selected though.

I know that could come through as careless, but I thought 3 through 6 were really, really close. And I probably flipped 7 and 8 a dozen times.

EAST

1. Orlando Magic
2. Chiago Bulls
3. Milwakee Bucks
4. Seattle Sonics
5. Washington Wizards
6. Indiana Pacers
7. Atlanta Hawks
8. Miami Heat

Question: Dwayne Wade led a team whose second best player was Michael "Who smokes the Blunts? We smoke the blunts" Beasley to a 5th overall record. How is flash going to finish out of the playoffs with a better pf, small forward, and decidedly better center, assuming Oden plays 42+ games?

It's a different game entirely. He was able to lead them to a playoffs in a severely unbalanced Eastern Conference. A Fantasy draft obviously makes the league relatively balanced, so his superstar abilities alone are less likely to be able to carry a team.

The entire Knicks team is an upgrade over the Heat, but nearly every player has some serious questions marks to them.

KINGS ARE JUST BEING HATERS, YA'ALL. THEY'RE SEVERELY UNDERRATING THE IMPACT THAT ED DAVIS & GREG MONROE WILL HAVE ON THEIR TEAMS THIS SEASON.

Facts don't lie:  we're healthier and deeper (and crazier!)

Who exactly are these "Wizards" you are discussing?

The only team in Washington bites and doesn't play with little magical wands!!

Dislike the 1,2,3 combo. Not in love with anyone on the bench.

Here are mine (just sent them off). These were difficult.

East

1. Orlando
2. Chicago
3. Milwaukee
4. Washington
5. Charlattle SuperCats
6. Indiana
7. New York
8. Atlanta
9. Cleveland
10. Miami
11. New Jersey
12. Boston
13. Toronto
14. Detroit
15. Philadelphia

West

1. Denver
2. Utah
3. Sacramento
4. Phoenix
5. New Orleans
6. Minnesota
7. Los Angeles Lakers
8. Oklahoma City
9. San Antonio
10. Dallas
11. Los Angeles Clippers
12. Golden State
13. Memphis
14. Portland

And for the record, I would have slotted my own team (HOU) into the #6 seed in the West. Maybe the #5 seed.

I'm finishing up on some work now, I'll repost what I beleive to be my Western Conference, but fair warning I definitely had Minnesota in the 8-11 range.

I think this is how I had it. I'd place myself somewhere in that top tier. 6-8, imo, are super interchangable. But I think if push came to shove, I'm probably leaving Minny out of the playoffs in favor of those other 2.

1. Denver Nuggets
2. Sacramento Kings
3. Utah Jazz
----
4. Los Angeles Lakers
5. New Orleans Buccs
----
6. Houston Rockets
7. San Antonio Spurs
8. Minnesota Timberwolves
