Miami Heat Roster

PG: S. Nash/A. Carter
SG: L. Williams/Shannon Brown
SF: S. Jackson/Jamario Moon
PF: L. Odom
C : C. Frye/C. Anderson

Here's the dilemma (if you wanna call it that), my head coach is none other then Phil Jackson.  This means we will be running the triangle offense.

What do you guys think? i know i have a few serious decisions to make including who starts at the SG/SF positions

I really dislike the Odom Frye frontcourt. Who plays in the paint?

I think you have the wrong back court to be using the triangle offense.

yeah once i moved West i knew i'd have problems up front, but i do have 2 picks tomorrow so i hope that, between those picks and a bit more wheeling and dealing i can get some more depth there.

i was thinking about moving birdman into the starting lineup but his health concerns make me leery of giving him too many responsibilities

I can't imagine firing Phil Jackson but I have to agree. Odom and Jackson are the only two starters that fit the triangle to a t.

Start Jackson at SG. Moon at SF for defense (if you can't upgrade somehow).

More importantly, why the triangle? Nash is a great pure point guard; isn't the triangle going to nullify his impact?

your first two guards off the bench are going to miss at least 10 games and 40 games respectively.  Your starting center is going to miss another 40 games.

Not the recipe of a contender

Toronto where is the youth to counter the age and the subtle decline we've seen with Allen and Pierce?

Can Brad Miller play starters minutes for half a season?

How do you find the backups at PF and C you need when we're already 270 players in?

Looking at your starting lineup, I thought of that song from Sesame Street, "One of These Things Doesn't Belong Here".  Four great defenders, and Gooden.

Anyway, your team's biggest weakness right now has got to be shooting, right?  Only Ariza has legit range, and he's very sporadic.  Because of that, your team is a little easier to defend than it might be.
