The LA Lakers final roster is this with estimated minutes per game:

PG Stephen Curry(36)/ DJ Augustin(10)/ Keyon Dooling(0)
SG Brandon Roy(38)/Quentin Richardson(10)
SF Tayshaun Prince(30)/ Jeff Green(20)/Tracy McGrady(4)
PF Michael Beasley(28)/ Al Harrington(16)
C  Tyson Chandler(34)/Drew Gooden(14)/David Andersen(0)
I'd like to see Beasley get 34-35 minutes a game.

I think he is considerably more effective than Harrington or Green at the four.

2. Yes, I will counter Antawn's d with Dwight Howard. Rashard Lewis isn't much of a defensive player either.
Rashard Lewis is a good defensive PF. He's a poor rebounder at the position but he's a good defender.

3. Hedu at the 4 because he's tall enough to do it, he spreads the floor, gives us another look offensively, and gives us another playmaker on the floor. Defensively, he's a bit of a liability, but I expect team defense would greatly assist him.
How is what he provides all that different than Jamison.

Also he's not a "bit of a libability" at the 4. He'll be a far below average defender at the 4 and also a far below rebounder.

Why won't you play Jamison, Dwight and Hedo together?

You think Salmons will help you in the half court? Why not use Davis/Hedo in the pick and roll with Howard?

1. Turk is able to handle the ball infinitely better than Jamison, while his defense is only slightly worse than Jamison's, which is something I'd be interested in when Baron isn't on the floor. My "bit of a liability" comment was more in regards to the dropoff in ability compared to Jamison.

2. My apologies, I mistyped. Meant to say that I'd never have Diddy, Turkoglu & Salmons on the floor at the same time.

3. Yes. Because I think you need another option besides pick n roll offense (with spotup 3's). He'll be like a 0 cal version of the truth.

I think you should start Hedo alongside Jamison and bring Salmons off the bench. I'm not a big Salmons fan. He is too inconsistent and just seems to disappear just when you need him most. I think your best starting five are Howard, Jamison, Hedo, Mathews and Davis. The comparisons to the 2009 Magic Finals team are undeniable and easily sold. Use Salmons as your gunner off the bench.

Thanks guys, starting Hedo is certainly something I'll contemplate. Now that I have Rudy and T-Will as capable bench-ballhandlers having Hedo start on the bench isn't quite as neccessary.

I just feel like Diddy-Salmons combination makes a little more sense than Diddy-Turk.

i like your team a lot, but why can't rip hamilton be the secondary scorer? Dirk will obviously get a ton of touches, and Maggette certainly isn't shy offensively; my question is: with so few touches left for everyone else on a lot of nights, will Rip be content as a peripherary offensive piece?

I think they will and im not sure that They really have to have fewer touches.  If you look at the average celtics game last year, they took around 77 shots a game.  Combined my Big 4 of Kidd, Rip, Maggette and Dirk took 53 shots per game last year.  So if they all shoot at the same rate as last year there would be 32 shots left for the other team.

This years celtics big 4 took a combined 47 shots a game.  So really not that far off and they all played for the same team, so i am pretty confident that my 4 starters will have enough shots to go around

The playoff teams will be voted on in about a week or so.  At that point, you'll have 8 teams in each conference, if you want to simulate those.

The problem with sims is that they always come up with some truly whacky results that don't mean a whole lot.  Still, they're fun, and don't hurt anything.
