i tried to do a search to get these selections right, let me know if these players are no longer available...

The Miami Heat select G/F Jamario Moon and G Lou Williams

In my fair, unbiased opinion neither of these picks should count....

Again, this has nothing to do with me wanting both of them  ;)

There has been a trade:

Chicago trades:
Amar'e, Okafor, 7.30

Seattle trades
Noah, Jennings, 7.8

And with that, I think Chicago just dealt a death knell to its own championship hopes.  I hate this trade for Chicago. (And this isn't just trash talk with my esteemed rival IndeedProceed.)

Yeah I don't like that deal for Chicago.

Trading away an offensive talent like Amar'e for an meh upgrade at the C position and Brandon Jennings?

Especially when LeBron is going to be running the offense anyways.

My thoughts:

1) Amare/LeBron wasn't going to sell people anyways. We're not tough enough defensively...we're not something something else...

2) Not a huge Amare fan anyways.

3) Huge Noah fan. Huge. Noah doesn't seem to particularly like LeBron either. Noah doesn't like to lose. Noah is a guy I needed on my team to mitigate LeBron's own ego. Nobody on the Cavs, sans possibly Andersen Varejao looked like they were putting up a fight down the stretch against Boston. Noah is both more vocal and more talented than ANdersen Varejao.

More on Brandon Jennings when I figure this all out.

Seriously man.  LeBron + Amare has got to be one of the scariest combos in the league.  Jennings might never get as good as Amare, and right now he's not even close in my opinion.  On top of that, I think Okafor for Noah is a downgrade also.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa

Amare/Lebron woulda sold me.  Even without a roster filled out, I still had you pegged for 60+ wins and posted so on the discuss your team board.

Hey seattle, I'm interested in trading for Amare now if you have any interest  ;D  Chandler or Gasol interest you?

Couldn't disagree more. Amare and Lebron were enough for me, and Okafor was a terrific compliment to them...

You could make the argument for Okafor being as good as Noah, and even Brandon Jennings doesn't think he's more valuable than Amare.

Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

I think it's a pretty lateral move.  It can be debated either way, but I'd take Noah.

I agree completely on the rest of your post, though.  If the Commissioner's Office vetoed trades to save GMs from themselves, this one would have gone into the reject bin.

IP is a good owner; I'll chalk this one up to having a bad burrito at lunchtime.
