Utah Jazz select: Jose Calderon

He's a great distributor and shooter.  I had his as my best remaining PG.

Those first 2 are true, but a horrendous defender. And seems to have lost a bit of his confidence last year.

A good pick here, but there are a couple of PGs I prefer (I think Calderon has always been a Roy favorite IIRC).

I wouldn't worry so much about his confidence; it would be restored playing on a real team.  I love the pairing of Gasol and Calderon (a pair that I had in the very first CB Draft.  Yep, he's a binky.)

Admitted Calderon hater, I had 6 PG's ranked ahead of him.

Wow!  I'd be curious to hear those six.  I can think of a handful who are arguable, but definitely not six of them.

That's the first Boxers pick I don't like.  I just think there was better talent on the board.

Nick I think you could've waited on Udonis until the next round.

Haslem and Splitter picks are both a reach with a lot of better talent available at this point
Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

The Bobcats are very happy they took a C and a PF in the Second round because the run on big men this round would have made them cry otherwise.

You win with defense and rebounding. Of the bigs left that could guard both position in the front court, he did those things the best.

My other choice was a reach here to but I feel more confident he will be there at 4.26 than I was that Haslem would be.
