man i am getting clobbered right now huh? y'all have lil faith in me, thats kinda sad  :'(

Sticks and stones...If you're happy with the trade then that's all that matters (I guess at least until the sharks start circling at the polls anyhow).

True. My first season, I inherited a team where the guy before me had drafted Jason Kidd. I traded him for pennies because I absolutely could not stand him. I was happy with my team at the end, but I got murdered by the other GM's.

Since we're discussing teams, may I just mention that Tyreke Evans is the modern day Oscar Robertson. ;D Got to start the campigning early.

LeBron + Amare is better than any current 1-2 duo in the NBA right now.

EDIT: Except the actual Miami team. That doesn't count.

Indiana Pacers select Tyson Chandler

We also give TPs to Faf and Roy for allowing us to draft late and shower Walker Wiggle for trying to get us the guy we wanted without even being asked to.  We are glad we got Chandler though and had he not fallen to us, our list would have been horrible.  We still explored trades this evening, but nothing intrigued us.

Ray Allen is still on the block.  Looking for a scoring PF.  Pick 4.3 could be involved in a package also.

He's taken.

He was taken by Indiana...  And then it was retracted...  and now he's re-drafted by Indiana.

I'd say Kobe + P. Gasol is equal but that is because Gasol>Amare (overall game) IMO.

And sneakily in 3rd place (if real-life MIA doesn't count) is Durant + Westbrook (and I do think WB is that good regardless of him sliding to me in the early 2nd)

DWilliams/Big Al, Rondo/Pierce and Jennings/Bogut also come to mind.

I disagree about Kobe+Gasol. LeBron is the best player in basketball by any metric other than championships, and he's never played with anyone who is on remotely equal footing with Gasol, or when he was clicking, Andrew Bynum.

I'd say the closest he's got is Antawn Jamison to Lamar Odom.

I think Anderson Varajeo is the best team mate he's had, which is comparable to Lamar Odom at this point in his career.

Edit: Actually I forgot that he played with Boozer for one year.

Since we're discussing teams, may I just mention that Tyreke Evans is the modern day Oscar Robertson. ;D Got to start the campigning early.

Ah I get it because Oscar Robertson is one of the rare players to ever average a 20/5/5 in a season?  Wait, Kobe's done that 8 times...

Except Tyreke, MJ and Oscar all did it in their rookie year...not Kobe :)
