Through my research, only 9 players had a more productive regular season last year than Brook Lopez. As the number two Center in the league, he shoots 82% from the line which is Unique.

Lopez was the best Future pick available and a more than solid Center for a Win Now team.
How did you define "most productive"?

Curious what rating system you used.

I think he was a first round pick, but unless you're going for future teams instead of win now there were many better picks available. But to each their own.

Roy and I exhanged big boards to prep for comish picks, and they were VERY different.

I don't know if I'd pick Rondo as early as he went, but he is the type of guy that gives a team/owner instant idendity, and I  know as an owner that can really help.

I'm not sure I like this whole vetoing thing.  Like my buddy said about fantasy sports, "You need owners like ______ in every league to simulate reality.  Every league needs an Isaiah Thomas.  Then it just becomes key for other owners to find and abuse him."

Lots of trades seem unfair but you don't know how they will turn out until after played out.
I've ruled on this, and everyone accepted the rules that included the potential for vetos.

Oh, right, vetoing absolutely is necessary.  I was referring to Roy's comment about a trade essentially being deemed to-be-vetoed before any details even mentioned.

I am willing to move my 3 4 and 6th for one of the next picks and a 5th.

A 3rd and a 4th for a top-15 pick will get vetoed every time, Gomesfan.

Will a 3rd, 4th, and 6th for a 1st (no 5th) get vetoed?  I'm not even positive who gets the better deal until the draft is completed.  Gomesfan obviously is starting public offers low to give him more bargaining room when eventually settling on some middle ground.

I'd like to feel less intimidated to make a trade that risks humiliation of being deemed an incompetent owner.  But I have much respect and gratitude for you guys and all the effort you put in to run this draft.  So do it as you please.  Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents for what it's worth   :)

When considering total PTS, BLK, STL, AST, REB, FT AND FG#.

Remind me after the draft and I'll link you.

he's had the most postseason success relative to any other top-tier PG right now...i'm ok with that pick at that time

Nice pick. A departure from your all defense all the time team last year!

Very good value pick right there.  2 other players still have great value to be drafted now IMO

Any time you can get a legit 7 footer that scores 25 a game how can you turn it down?

Yeah, I like the Dirk pick.  He's an elite superstar, even if he's old.

Great choice. He's been the BPA since the 7th pick.
