I'm not sure I like this whole vetoing thing. Like my buddy said about fantasy sports, "You need owners like ______ in every league to simulate reality. Every league needs an Isaiah Thomas. Then it just becomes key for other owners to find and abuse him."
Lots of trades seem unfair but you don't know how they will turn out until after played out.
I've ruled on this, and everyone accepted the rules that included the potential for vetos.
Oh, right, vetoing absolutely is necessary. I was referring to Roy's comment about a trade essentially being deemed to-be-vetoed before any details even mentioned.
I am willing to move my 3 4 and 6th for one of the next picks and a 5th.
A 3rd and a 4th for a top-15 pick will get vetoed every time, Gomesfan.
Will a 3rd, 4th, and 6th for a 1st (no 5th) get vetoed? I'm not even positive who gets the better deal until the draft is completed. Gomesfan obviously is starting public offers low to give him more bargaining room when eventually settling on some middle ground.
I'd like to feel less intimidated to make a trade that risks humiliation of being deemed an incompetent owner. But I have much respect and gratitude for you guys and all the effort you put in to run this draft. So do it as you please. Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents for what it's worth
