Ooops, forgot Denver...who was Russell Westbrook.

Doesn't matter. He's raising his asking price. I think he's going to want a couple of 4th rounders now. LOL.

So, it's something like three or four teams basically owning 40% of the picks in the 6th round?

I have 6.25, and am targeting one player, perhaps two. If you have a pick you're willing to move for a late 6th and additional considerations, hit me up.

It's pretty like that given our history i'm targetting the same 1-2 players as Lucky  :-\

Which is why I'm asking the other GMs with multiple 6ths if I can trade for one, LOL.

I'm on to you, GC.

Utah had a nice & relaxing weekend.

Ready to rock 'n roll tomorrow.  Rounds 6-9 have always been my favorite.  This is where a lot of "make or break" happens.

Centers available!

Looking to trade either Chris Kaman (need low post offense?) or Tyson Chandler (need interior defense?) for a PF that can score and has a mid range jumpshot.  NOT looking for a PF that has no mid range jumper.

Willing to include draft pick 6.3 in a deal.

Suggestion to mods:

I forget if it was last year, the year before or both. But we used to have a "on the block" thread where you could post once a date players you had on the block and what you were looking for.

Feel free to start one if you'd find that useful.

Real clever.  Didnt i see you in the thread wanting Thibbs to be the celts head coach if Doc left?

Edit: course if i reached on half my picks so far i would probably be lashing out at other GM's as well

I'll go you one better and point out that I also hired Thibodeau as my head coach for the 2009 Houston Rockets. But mea cupla if what I meant as a tongue-in-cheek response came off as lashing out. I'll be sure to feed you some pro-Thibs statistics later.

(I do look forward to defending my reaches...)

As promised...

A twenty-one year veteran Thibodeau has won 53% of his games, made the postseason fourteen times, including trips to the Finals in 1999, 2008 and 2010, and coached sixteen top 10 defenses.

"His dedication to the individual player was way above the norm." - Jeff Van Gundy

"He started drilling me, NBA basketball drills, when I was fourteen. So he kind of has inside information on what I like to do because he taught me most of the stuff.” - Kobe Bryant

“Thib has been the best thing that happened to us.” - Kendrick Perkins

"Thibs did wonders for Larry Johnson. They formed a unique bond, and remember: Larry wasn't a power player anymore because of a back injury. Tom taught him how to play the finesse game." - former Knicks' assistant Rick Brunson

“I have no trouble following a guy who knows exactly where he’s going." - Glen Davis

since a bunch of GMs have asked/made offers:

i'm not looking to trade any of my 4x 6th round picks for other picks... the only offer I received/made/considered was a 6th/9th for two 7ths (or a top-five 8th). Otherwise, I'm not interested in moving much further back from that.

I will, however, gladly entertain offers of players for any/all of my 6th rounders or a combo of my players/picks (including 6ths).

Those are some great quotes outlining Thib's leadership. We all already knew about his defensive chops.

He will be missed on the Celtics.
