There has been a trade:

Indiana Pacers trade:  Chris Kaman, 6.3

OKC Thunder trade: Marc Gasol, 7.1


Commentary:  I personally like Kaman better than Gasol, so I prefer this one for the Thunder.  At the same time, I understand why Gasol has his fans, and he's the better defender.

Commentary:  I personally like Kaman better than Gasol, so I prefer this one for the Thunder.  At the same time, I understand why Gasol has his fans, and he's the better defender.

I like Gasol better than Kaman (and not just b/c he started alongside Lebron on last year's Magics), but this is a fair deal both ways due to the picks.

Yeah I haven't gotten into a single one of those "Miami isn't that great, seriously" debates because while I believe Boston could beat them in the playoffs, there is no rationality behind it. No actual reasoning or anything.

We are excited to add such a dominant defensive wing player this late in the draft. His teammates think he is the best defensive wing in the NBA and at the young age of 25 was already 2nd team all defense in the NBA last year. His versatility defensively is exactly what this team needed. We look forward to filling out this bench now!
