I could've gone with a few different people here but I'm going with...

The Atlanta Hawks select Kirk Hinrich

Solid.

Ouch. That was my guy.

With the 28th pick in the 5th round, Indiana Pacers select Derek Fisher.

Might have been a little early value-wise and he's aging, but Indiana loves the backcourt trio of Fisher/Kobe/Pietrus for this upcoming season.  Fisher is still a steady hand who can play solid defense, run a smooth offense, give tremendous veteran leadership, and hit a big shot (unfortunately).  Love having either Kaman or Chandler at C and are looking to move one of those centers for a PF.  Draft picks are in play also.

hope you know what your in for

I guess the Rockets should be thankful they only play you twice a year!

You mean you hope all opposing teams know what they're in for.  I love the toughness of my team.

I have pick 18 for the Clippers still needing to be made. Are the commishes going to wait for the Clippers to pick because the coach's next pick belongs to the Clips also or is a PBA pick going to be made?

Just wondering.

Given the speed or lack of with which coaches picks are going (a) will they just extenend through next week as they are made or (b) will there be like a 6-8 hr window after which the next team can pick?

I was travelling yesterday but followed many picks on my phone. A lot of good solid choices --- maybe the most consistent round since the 1st in terms of guys being taken where I personally thought they should.

FWIW, Marcus Thornton is a guy I was debating vs taking Arenas. If for no other reason than to rile up Mr. Wiggle.  ;D

I'll be picking the BPA available for mgent if he doesn't respond once the draft board is cleaned up and the rest is taken care of.

Its cool, the draft board isn't up to date though. I'll get right on that for you.

We'll just keep the coaches round going till its done. No jumping ahead in line!

I've got all the players up though not all the picks are properly traded yet. That's my project after lunch.

Thanks.  I was a little confused, I didn't know there was no draft today so i thought I missed 2 picks.

I guess I'll go ahead and take Ben Wallace.  He proved last year that he's still an NBA player.  Good defense, good rebounding.  I think he'll go good with KG.

For a coach, I suppose Don Nelson.
