Pretty Pumped for BC vs VT tomorrow.  Should be a pretty good game, and I think BC has the edge since its at home and BC is a dominant home team

If BC can get their act together on the offensive side of things, they have an excellent shot of winning.  VT losing Ryan Williams for this game is a big blow for the Hokies.

Unfortunatly, I won't be able to watch any of the game since I'll be in Evanston watching the Northwestern-CM game.  Will definitely be following it on the BB, though.

I'm going too. Hopefully we get better play out of Shinske and the O-line. Herzlich looked better the 2nd week than he did the first week. I think after a bye week to rest he takes another step forward. I think he will be back to the old Herzlich by the 6-8 game mark.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

They gotta get their running game back on track.  Didnt look too good in the Weber State game.  They just can't put this game in the hands of Shinske.

Herzlich looked light years better in Week 2.  That improvement should continue.

There isnt anything here that i disagree with. Im looking for Harris in the Wildcat this weekend.  I have a feeling they didnt use it the last two weeks because they felt the didnt need to and didnt want to give VT any more tape on how they are running it.

One of my co-workers believes that they held back a lot of stuff (Wild Cat, vanilla defense) so that VT wouldn't have film of it.

This week's edition of "What Games Interests Dons"

Oregon St. v. Boise St.-  Unless you live under a rock, you're well aware of the BCS implications of this game.  Last BCS team that Boise will face this regular season and its still only September.

Alabama v. Arkansas-  A tough road test for the defending champs.  Arkansas was rather impressive in a big road win last week at Georgia.

South Carolina v. Auburn- Big early season battle between two undefeated SEC teams.

Virginia Tech v. BC-  BC finally faces an ACC team.  Can they go 3-0 against a disappointing Hokie squad?

Central Michigan v. Northwestern-  'Cause I'm going to the game.

Good.  I think its the right call especially for the long run.

However, its certainly a tall order starting your first collegiate game in primetime against Notre Dame.  They may be 1-3 but its slightly deceiving.

Thats what i thought too but when you think about it, it is kind of the perfect timing.  While ND is a big game emotionally and for the fans it doesnt count towards the ultimate goal of getting to the ACC Title game.  So the thinking here could be lets get him some experience at home, before he goes on the road to NC State who is 4-0 and an atlantic division rival.

I'm pretty much under the impression that this team has nothing to lose right now so why not start the kid?  I don't think they're serious contenders in the ACC.  Too many question marks.  I loved the defense going into the season but the team was only gonna go as far as the offense allowed and I had serious concerns there.  The Eagles will need to get it together fast to make any noise in the conference.  I'm forseeing another lackbluster bowl to be perfectly honest.

N.C. State could quite possibly be the best team in the ACC that almost no one is talking about.  T.O.B. will have his boys up to play BC next week.

Alabama should tune up Florida.  Night game in Tuscaloosa?  Good luck with that.

I don't think this Florida team is for real and it should get exposed on Saturday night.

I'd like to know what happened to the Bazooka (wildcat) formation. If we can't throw the ball why not run it almost exclusively.
I feel like we need a new young offensive co-ordinator with some fresh ideas.

I agree with the bazooka.  Surprised we didnt see it last week however, im not sure you can really blame Tranquill for the offense.  Shinskie is that bad.  He cannot read a defense.  there were plays where my entire section saw a safety playing over the top in coverage and shinskie threw the ball anyways cause he thought the guy was open.  The safety picked it but was out of bounds.

I think a real benefit here is that you have Rettig who is supposedly a very good prospect and he is going to be surrounded for 4 years by Coleman, Swiggert, Amidon, and Phillips.  By their junior and senior years this could be one of the most impressive attacks around.  Especially when Larmond is back.
