Looked good again. Danny is a master!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Don't count the chickens quite yet. He was 4-14 today.

Yeah but 12 rebounds with four offensive. Speights has experience as an Nba Player and still did only ok against Harangody.

Though Harangody didn't do good as yesterday he still played a solid game i thought. Can't see much for the rest of the team (except Carroll)

As I said in the other thread, forget the stats. Watch the kid's game. He has NBA game and smarts and decision making and an NBA motor. He'll make the squad and might be a tenth man on this squad.

Danny just compared him to Ryan Gomes for anyone who made that comparison in the past.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

He also plays within himself and doesn't try to do too much.

I'm watching the game against Charlotte right now, and Gody is having another good game.  Stats won't blow you away, but he definitely has elite level hustle and is moderately athletic.  He's got huge shoulders, and knows how to use his strength to rebound the basketball.  His shooting form is absolutely horrendous, but he does enough other things on the court to make me think that he can in fact contribute.

Tony Gaffney is intriguing too.  His arms look like they hang down past his knees, and he really gets up in the air.  Sorta like Birdman or something.

That Gody will make the team should be pretty much a lock at this point, but after today's game, the field is wide open for the rest of the spots. Lafayette? Gaffney? Jenning? Simms?

Just looking at the roster alone and the amount players the C's have signed makes him a lock. That is without the fact that he's got some NBA skills.

I gotta tell ya, this Matt Janning kid is pretty impressive too.  He's quick.  And has good hops.  Deep range.

This kid might be able to give us something this year too.  He's actually dominating this game in a lot of ways.  He seems to be everywhere.

Gody is number 1 on the Rookie Ladder, nice to know a 2nd rounder is considered number 1 right now above the other 1st rounders...

we will see what happens when John Wall plays. Too bad Avery can't play, kinda anxious to see what he's got at an NBA level

Quote
After scoring 23 in Monday's debut, Harangody once again showed off a little hustle to go with his shotput jumper. The Notre Dame product had 14 points and 12 rebounds and was one of the most active players on the court. He was a bit off target, though, going just 4-for-14 from the floor (0-for-2 on 3s). Still, of the rookies, no one seems to be working harder than Harangody.

Yeah it's going to be interesting to see how this all pans out cause too many people are looking good after this one. I even thought Erden looked a little better, still not NBA good but showed that he has a few things going for him. Gaffney should get a spot I think cause he can defend well enough and he can run the floor well. Jenning impressed me a bit, are him and Jaycee Carroll the same guy or is that just me? Obviously Jenning is more athletic but they seem to play very similar styles. Simms impressed me a lot but he's a project. I think he has a lot of potential but we all know potential means nothing in the NBA. This goes without saying but Harangody looks like a great pick, I'll be the first to admit that I was mad at the pick at first. Just glad that I appear to have been wrong. Have to take this all for what it is though, just summer league.
