Woo Hoo!!  Best defensive backcourt in the league.  I love this pick.  I hope they haven't traded it.

Phenomenal pick. I watched Texas to check out James and always came out impressed with Bradley as well.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I think we trade him to Memphis, but wouldn't mind keeping him.

Probably BPA.

trade fodder?

Or will be become a combo 1/2 for the bench?

If we keep him, I assume Nate is gone.

What? A PG who can't shoot and who won't play behind Rondo?!

What was Ainge thinking? Very disappointed, we badly needed some scoring guard/wing for years to spell Ray and Pierce, we could have taken proven scorers in Damion James and James Anderson and we take a PG who can't shoot... great. ::)

We will see how Bradley fits but I'm very disappointed right now.

Hard to post on Cblog right now.

I'm okay with the pick.

Agree, probably means Nate is gone.

Also, Gomes to Portland?  I think his contract has a team option -- would love him to be cut and then sign with Boston...
Celtics fan for life.

Gotta think this spells the end of Nate and maybe Tony as well.

Silver lining in the dark cloud of not drafting the guy I wanted.

I like it.  he's going to frustrate opposing 2's who take him lightly, and he's going to score in bursts.....

espn radio:  if he pans out he's the next Russel Westbrook, though I don't think he goes to the rim like Westbrook.

Rondo and Bradley should make a pact to shoot their FTs underhanded.

I assume this means T.A. won't be resigned - rather than Robinson.

My early thought is that he can be used as a combo guard behind Rondo and Allen next year.  While 6-3 1/2 isn't tall, it's also only an 1 1/2 shorter than Ray.  And given his wingspan, it may be a wash.

I'm not sure how I feel about a backcourt of the future with him and Rondo given the size and lack of shooting.  However, what may happen is that he proves to be a valuable sub for a couple years behind Rondo and Allen, and then when the Big Three leave, he may be trade fodder in the rebuilding effort if he plays well.

Still don't get it. We have no center for next year, we need some young legs and we take a PG that apparently can't shoot and will never get time here.

I really, reallllyyy don't like this. Only good thing that could come out of this is he busts out and we can trade him 4 years down the line.

Ugh.

+1

hard to understand... hopefully the Celtics don't play him and Rondo together. It'd be Hack-a-Celt Guard at the end of games.

Hoping for a trade... Danny, are you there?
