Massive game from Darius Acuff Jr. The Rookie PG finished with 34pts/14ast/6rebs. 13-26 from the field.

Clearly has a license to shoot. 37% overall and 22% from 3 on high volume isn't that efficient, but I suppose they have nobody else other than LaVine. Let him keep chucking then  :police:

His shooting numbers are not great thus far, but the fact that he was able to put up that stat line last night with good shooting was really impressive.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Hey, Dybantsa played!

I didn't see the game but I am looking forward to seeing him play. He had 17pts and 8reb in 30min. 5-11 FGA 6-7 FTA.

Caleb Wilson might be the best player to come out of this draft. He was super impressive. Bulls are such a bad team. They have 4 good players.

I didn't realize he was 6'9"....looked same height as JT standing next to him

Clingan looks great for Portland. I think the Morant injury might actually help them. Jrue/Camara as wing D, Avidja/Lillard at the point of attack and Clingan as the monster in the middle. Morant should be their 6th man when he returns.

They also badly need a reliable big backing up Clingan. Timelord was out against the Grizzlies and their deep bench bigs are terrible.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Dallas is actually a decent team. Wonder if they?ll sell off Kyrie or try to make playoffs.

Tatum is 6?9. He said so in an interview.

Lillard should be the 6th man, but that?s not going to happen. Trailblazers play fast with Morant. He has fit in well. His per 36 is 22pts/8ast/4rebs with shooting splits of 54/43/83

This Lakers team really is a one-man show. And he's dang good, but when he's not there or struggling it'll be really rough for them

Wow Lakers blew a 40-15 2nd quarter lead, losing to Golden State 112-95.

Jokic is having some quiet scoring games to start the season. He had that bad shooting game to open the season. Scored only 13pts. He has 18pts, 19pts, 21pts in 3 of his other 4 games.

Only 1 big scoring game with 35pts.

Jokic has averaged 26.9ppg (12.4rpg 9.3apg) for the last 6 years. Hmm, Jokic was either the MVP or finished 2nd for MVP in all 6 of those seasons.

This is more like what he did in 2017-20 when he averaged 19.5ppg (10.4rpg 6.8apg).

Too early to jump to any big conclusions but something to keep an eye on. He is playing the most minutes of his career as well. So the lower scoring is not due to lack of playing time. 31 years old will turn 32 around the trade deadline later this season.

Free-throw attempts are way down and he?s also not making his threes. Physically, Jokic looks like he is in the best shape he has ever been in.

Chet Holmgren injured. Out 6-8 weeks (pateller tendon tear). So now OKC have lost both of their starting forwards and they lost Lu Dort during the summer. That forward rotation looks dicey. Cason Wallace is also injured. So 3 starting quality (4 if you include Dort).

They have signed Ochai Ogbaji to get another body in there.

They got walloped in their last game by Dallas.

G: J McCain
G: Ajay Mitchell, A Caruso
G: SGA
F: Kenrich Williams, Jaylin Williams
C: I Hartenstein, Aday Mara

4 combo guards.
1 combo forward
1 combo big (PF/C)
2 centers
0 wings

Caruso has an ankle sprain. He missed the game with Dallas. So they had no proven bench players on the perimeter. N Topic also missed the game. Another option. Bennett Stirtz their mid-first round pick was used. I don't even know who the other 3 perimeter guys are that they used. Josh Dix. Micah Peavy. Brooks Barnhizer.

They need Caruso back to shore up that bench. Looks a good fit for Agbaji. He could get some minutes there.
