We aren't going to win with Allen playing like a girl. Jesus. He hit 2 wide open shots, everything else was him flopping and the refs feeling bad for him.

I think we must've been watching 2 different games. If you're referring to Ray Allen, he spent most of the night on the bench in foul trouble and didn't see much flopping from him.
2021 Houston Rockets

SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington

They need to look themselves in the mirror and ask if they actually want to win. KG looked hesitant, Ray got screwed on the bad calls but some of them he fell into, Rondo needs to push the tempo more, i thought the bench held up their end.

Game 2 is a MUST WIN

KG clearly showing fatigue. Can't make an uncontested layup.

Can't rebound. Not even close. We were getting away with so many loose ball fouls at the end. What a joke.

Kobe and Pau are in their prime. Absolutely killing it out there. This is going to be a tough series if all we can do is flop and hope the refs bail us out.

Give me a break. To call out Ray, particularly with sexist language like that, language that there is chauvinistic and no excuse for (I have a hunch Diana Taurasi could school you one on one), is a joke. He was in foul trouble the entire game because the game was being whistled so close (on both ends). He had no chance to play in this game. To throw Ray Allen under the bus for this loss makes no sense at all.

Yea it's true he was out a good amount of the game, but he still got bailed out. Seemed like all him and Pierce were doing was charging in like Lebron would do and trying to get calls. Attacking is one thing, but just rushing in when the Laker defense doesn't dictate that is bad basketball. They got some calls because they are stars, but it's not a good sign. It just really seemed the Laker's length and defense was voiding our game. We couldn't make many plays that made sense. Some major adjustments are needed, if it will even matter.

Reasons the Celtics lost:

1. Rondo didn't attack the Lakers in the transition game and get everybody easy baskets. He walked the ball up the floor, wasted time staring at screens, then we went the plan b AKA bailout shot offense.

2. KG didn't attack the Lakers.

3. Obscene amount of fouls called, they were even, but it totally disrupted the flow of the game.

4. REBOUNDING

I still think the biggest reason we lost is because Rondo and Ray didn't play enough effective minutes(for their respective reasons).

Rondo and Ray represent our biggest advantages in this series. Lakers are notoriously poor against quick guards and Ray is being defended by Fisher/Brown/Farmar which is obvious advantage Celtics.

Can't win without these two.

Also, Pierce is still fully capable of dropping 20 on Artest every night. Needs to be more agressive with his shot selection.

Celtics looked hesitant from the tip off! they all seemed scared of the moment the only Celtic that looked like he was prepared for the moment was Paul Pierce. Everyone else seemed like they were sleep walking the whole night.

1. Out hustled
2. Not even close to being aggressive (Wallace was the only one)
3. Gasol outrebounded the entire celtic bigs!

Heading into this series we were the bigs favorites and you allow Gasol to outrebound all 4 bigs? besides KG and Perkins didnt come to play they came to foul i mean specially Perkins.

No rebounds = No rings

If this team really wants to win they gotta send a statement next game and show up to play basketball if they lose the next game its gonna be awfully tough to beat LA this yr and it could end up in 5 games.

1. KG take your jumpshots and stop making an extra pass.
2. Ray take Fisher to school since your like 4 inches taller.
3. Rondo play like you wanna be here?
4. Perkins start playing D not wrestling.
5. Doc when Wallace is your best player on the floor please dont take him out for your worst which was Perkins because just incase you missed the point Rasheed is your X-factor to win this series

The Whistle-Happy Derrick Stafford made sure Ray Allen was on the bench after Minimal Contact fouls--you watch the replay---you'll see it was Stafford who was calling it close on the C's in particular---the other refs called the fouls on LA.
