Figured I'd post this here as well:

I'm willing to drop down a few spots with my third round selection

Hate to make a pick that could been as reactionary, but while there were better talents out there, Nash was the only guy that I couldn't afford to not have on the board with my next selection.

Run on PGs. Still there is so much talent everywhere.

Ya, when I made the trade to move out of the second round yesterday I don't think I ever considered selecting Nash in the third. But with the run on PG's happening, and in my opinion a big dropoff in the PG position coming I didn't think I could afford to not select him.

Good call on Nash in that spot.  There's definitely been a run on PGs lately.

Dirk fell a bit imho. Liked the Durant pick. Hope other teams don't use 90's style defense on him!

I am stoked to get Dirk Nowitzki,an MVP player, mid way through the third round and also to get a player that will compliment Shaq's game so well. Dirk's outside game and Shaq's inside game will make for an almost impossible double team on Shaq in the post.

Good Point. Shaq was a load in his hey day, and even double teams were ineffective. Nice Frontline and team so far. Dirk is still a load to handle to this day, too.

Yeah, that's a heck of a combo, nick.  Drexler is a nice complement, too.

I think the Drexler pick is huge, because it might be hard for the Nets to find a stopper, while they may have the only team that can stop Dirk and Shaq one on one.

I'm happy so far with this:

PF: Karl Malone ('96-'97): 27.4/9.9/4.5/.550%, League MVP, All-NBA 1st Team All-Defense 1st Team

C: Alonzo Mourning ('98-'99): 20.1/11.0/1.6/3.9 BPG, 2nd in league MVP, All-NBA 1st Team, ALl-Defense 1st

To get a 1st and a 2nd MVP, 1st team all nba and 1st team all-defense at the 4/5 spot is a good way to anchor a team, I say.

I'd love to see how your front court matches up with Mchale and   Olajuwon.

Both are supreme defensive front court combos, that is for sure

Oh, before I forget, I would like all owners who see this to give fellow owner Redz a TP for taking over our beloved Boston Celtics and keeping them a viable entity in this game. I promised 10 so here is me giving him 1.
