Well so far draft has gone like I thought

Jordan
Lebron to me
Hakeem (I know he went 4th but he was the 3rd pick)

I struggled between Lebron and Hakeem myself and would have gone with Dream had Lebron not had the present year on the books.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Gotta say I'm real happy with who I got.

I though for sure top 4 would be MJ, LeBron, a certain PF who hasn't been chosen yet and then either Shaq, Hakeem or a certain SG that hasn't been chosen yet. Out of the last three I wanted Shaq and I got the Deisel.

Very, very happy.

StartOrien is up and isn't one line and Slugger already missed his pick.

Players should be paying attention because guys they thought wouldn't be there for them just might.

Needless to say, I'm absolutely thrilled about Magic @ #10.  I didn't not anticipate his availability and you simply can't pass on, arguably, the greatest PG of all-time.

Torn between him and another very surprising avaiaable player.  Either one would've been a great building block.

As I just posted in the other thread, I bet you never expect him to be available?

I am really disappointed at the turnout and think we might see another missed pick or two. Really is too bad but those owners who are here will be reaping the benefits.

What are your guys' thoughts on pickng KG this early?

I thought the 90's were an era of exceptional big-men, and I thought the best way to start would be a freak of an athlete whose passionate on the defensive end.

I had Magic outside of my top 10.

I had KG 6th or 7th, so you got him about where I thought he would go.

I figured I had to go big-man there, because I see a pretty decent drop off. But there's two other big guys I realy debated between.

And was MVP in '89-90 which is an eligible season here.

That Larry Pick is really good in that he had an unreal 1989-90 season with 24.5 PPG, 9.5 RPG and 7.5 APG. yeah his back was almost gone and his defense was pretty porous at that time, but he was still amazing.

People talk about Lebron's amazing MVP season this year at 25 years old with stats of 29.5 PPG, 7.3 RPG and 8.6 APG. Yeah, well Larry was doing that type of stuff at 33 years old on a bad back.
