(This is the Bill Walker Fan Thread, right?)

Knicks record when Billy scores 20+:  2-2
Billy < 20:  2-5

Clearly, the offensive wizardry of future all-star Bill Walker is the key to any success the Knicks have this year.  He is their building block for the future.

You know that a kid can be a good player, and a good prospect for the future, without being a dominant All-Star.

I wonder how many games the following lineup would win:
Lester Hudson, Gerald Green, Bill Walker, Michael Sweetney, Kevin Pittsnogle Leon Powe, with two Wills off the bench (Bynum and Salomon).

Edit -- Silly me, forgot Powe!
Since we're playing against Powe tonight, thought this was worth a bump...
Celtics fan for life.

Maybe Bill Walker isn't exactly LeBron James, but this makes my blood boil.

Oh Bill, hardly knew ye. Like really, hardly. Because you get 20 points a night sometimes, but you only had 6 for us all season.

Im glad Bill Walker has put up a few 20 point games on a team that is playing meaningless games with nothing to loose. Ill take the playoffs over the lottery anyday.

well, I see what you're saying, but I don't think Bill Walker was holding us back, and it's notlike Nate Robinson has catapulted us over the brink.

True but Robinson fills a role/need for this team. We already had Tony and Quis at Walkers position...I agree that Doc should had given him some playing time and that he has potential. I mean hes getting his chance to show his skills, which is good for him, but then again its on the Knicks...Put him on a different contending team, does he make the rotation?

I feel a Joe Johnson/Rodney Rodgers situation might be happening. :'(

That makes two of us. I am still waiting for the "We Should Have Kept Bill Walker" threads to start popping up. I'll judge the season after the playoffs end, not in the middle of March.

No, but isn't it more fun to watch a young hungry player but his butt for 32 mins in a loss than it is to watch old cynical players bust their butt for 2 and a half quarters than give up in a loss?

The guy is already a better shooter than Marquis and TA. The worst part was we all knew Billy had a lot of talent. But the minutes were never there. Oh Well, that's in the past now. On the bright side, Scal remains a Celtic for life.

Funny how minutes suddenly opened up for an old broken down Michael Finely.

brilliant, yet eloquent way to point out what the Doc doubters have long believed-->Doc will play a vet over a young player every time if he has a choice.   TP for you.

Besides, we got Marcus Landry--who went 2-12 for the Red Claws today.
